Also I'd completely forgotten about the Weepies. I remember the first music festival I went to (T in the Park in '06) forcing myself to get up after the first night's heavy nights drinking and the first band I saw the 2nd day (sat cross legged in a tent) were the Weepies. Perfect music to soothe an aching head!

Got to say that i only recently found out about The Pogues and The Dubliners.. i'm from Germany so i normally don't listen to such Music/those Bands.

I had a Venetian Snares marathon last night. I listened to his Chocolate Wheelchair, Detrimentalist, Doll Doll Doll, and Rossz Csillag Allat Szuletett albums. My favourite track of the night is Hajnal which is one of my favourite pieces of music of all time:

That piece . . . did not go where I thought is was going to. 'Twas rather awesome for it. Going on my "to buy" list for sure.
The funny thing is I can't even remember half the D 'n' B albums I bought, I know some were from the emotiv lable though.

Vats of Goo from the Fallout soundtrack was sort of a ripoff if you heard this one before. That aside, this particular track from one of Brian Eno's album was just as chilling as the latter. Maybe worse.

I really like The Dirty Projectors' new album. There's not a bad song on it, but also it's very much an "Album" album, so there aren't really any stand out singles either that work all that well outside the context of the album as a whole. This one's probably my favorite, for example, but it's also not really what the band sounds like as a whole:
