Ah, that's fantastic, thanks for that! I love me a bit of dubstep but I'm not a huge fan of the Transformers-having-noisy-intercourse end of things, so this is ideal.

Been looping three Android Lust albums ("The Dividing", "Stripped and Stitched" and "Devour, Rise, and Take Flight". I don't have the newest album, but it doesn't sound quite as good as the earlier ones either) for the past four days. When I haven't been playing CoH, at least.
Music I sometimes don't listen to for a year or more but always return to at some point, usually in times of anger and depression.

    One of my favourites:

Been listening to little bit of this and that lately.

    Some sort of post-rock, I guess. I don't know.

    Some sort of rock.

Some sort of Depeche Mode's best album IMHO.

I've just taken a trip from The Beach Boys' Pet Sounds to The Smashing Pumpkins' Machina II and finally to Norah Jones' Come Away With Me. It's a weird day. :\

    Lovely, lovely Meg Baird.

It was a pleasant suprise when I found out she had a new album out. When you add that too Emmy the Great, Laura Marling, Marissa Nadler and Lia Ices it has been a fantastic year for female folk artists.

Get this, get this, get this, get this...

Kuedo's album comes out soon. Been a while since I've been so excited about the release of an album and this mix only increases that. All I hear about the album is 'Vangelis' and from the tracks I've heard they aren't wrong. But I'll have to wait and see. I don't want to wait.

Been doing a lot of intense drawing board work in the office this week so I've been listening to Groove Salad by Soma FM via Itunes Radio (under electronica). Highly recommend it, as it's ideal working music when you don't want anything too distracting, but enough of a beat to keep you in the zone: -

Been in a Tom Waits mood lately (or maybe Waits fits the mood I'm in):

So, The B-52's. Those guys who were in the Flinstones movie. They wrote that Loveshack song. Who knew their first few albums were quite good? Well, some of you probably did. I'm a bit slow.

Most of the interesting stuff is on Mesopotamia(at least to me), but there are a few gems on the first two albums outside the more well known songs.

    Loveland (David Byrne mix)

    Quiche Lorraine

First heard this track on an episode of The Shield, and I've been listening to it a lot since then.

    Also, The Boss:

Bon Iver's debut. A bit out of the loop as I only just got this today; been loving the hell out of the new album ever since its release and finally got around to grabbing the debut. So damn good. Wonderfully autumnal too.

    Love.

Been listening to the new Evanescence album last few days. It's...I dunno. It sounds like Evanescence and it's more of that, but at the same time there's nothing that makes me go "I'm going to remember this in a few days." Take the Foo Fighters album from earlier in the year. I remember every song on it and whilst some are better than others, it's all good. This...I mean it's good, but it's bland good. It hits all the right notes, but that's it. It lacks a soul. Passion. Any kind of 'Oomph'.

Favourite song on the album so far:

Very ambivalent about the whole thing.

Recently I've been listening lots of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. Reminds me that I should get around replaying Alan Wake some day.

Recently fell in love with Katie Herzig after hearing some of her tunes used on TV.

All times I have enjoyed greatly, have suffered greatly, both with those that loved me, and alone.
