IIRC, it's the just DLC they're unlocking, for back end reasons.
Its the whole game, just got emails for DLC and Battlefield 3 Limited Edition
I got the email, but couldn't log in any earlier than the announced release. Community manager says on Reddit that it was an error in sending out the emails. It unlocks in 2 hours for me though!
Evidently some developer named Reloaded got it all sorted out and made the process super easy for EA customers.
All times I have enjoyed greatly, have suffered greatly, both with those that loved me, and alone.
The workaround has nothing to do with a crack or something..it's just the fact that it already has been release in certain regions of this world. If only there was a possibility to make the time-checking servers at EA believe one was in that timezone.. ;)
And yes..plenty of European servers online (and populated) right now..
