Every now and again I get a bit blown away by incredibly cool life sometimes is. For example, I'm writing this from an underground library with broken lighting, trying to find a book on cyborg pornography by the light on my phone. It's like being a character in a book co-written by Phillip K Dick and H.P. Lovecraft.

I really enjoy moments like these. When you suddenly realize how super awesome technology is. My most recent one was sitting on a bench in a zoo and watching live TV on my phone.
I keep getting staggered by realising that I can store roughly half of the vinyl record collection my dad has spent 40 years building, which has well over a thousand disks in it, on my phone!

The latest moment like that for me was quite a dumb, but great one. My friend recently moved to London (from Ireland) and we were a bit depressed at the prospect of not getting to talk much, but he discovered a provider that offers 1p/minute calls to Irish landlines. While we were on the phone one day another friend rang my mobile, which he has free calls to, and I put both phones on loudspeaker. A conference of 2 mobiles and a landline all in different countries for 1p a minute... Life/technology is awesome
I'm currently talking to people from all over the world as casually as I'd pick up a news paper
