Sounds like much of the event was overshadowed by the free condoms, dwarves and cokefiends, provided by Graingers Games though.

All times I have enjoyed greatly, have suffered greatly, both with those that loved me, and alone.
They're far too busy eating their celebratory packets of biscuits to tell us the good news.
We're not at all shy about it and it's flattering to win, but it's an inter-industry award voted for by a very small number of people rather than a The World Loves RPS! kinda thing, so didn't seem appropriate to shout about it.

The Oscars are voted for by members of the film industry and that doesn't stop Gwynneth Paltrow from taking them very seriously indeed. Go on, Alec, geez a wee cry - go on.
EDIT: Oops. After reading a bit about what transpired on the evening my previous sentence may have come across as rather insensitive. Well done on the award, regardless of the behaviour of the sponsors.
