I liked Banes voice but sometimes it is hard to hear, batmans voice i got used to maybe its a little silly but whatever. At least there both not as bad as the mumbly guy at the start of inception i still have no idea what he says.

For what it's worth, Roger Ebert really liked Life of Pi.
Are there any documentaries about drug cartels in Mexico,Los Zetas and similar stuff. They are ex special marines,who quit the army and created their own cartel,before that they did hits for other cartels,but since they formed their own,they're using military tactics and equipement in fighting others. Interesting stuff.

How is Pi supposed to be pronounced anyway? I remember the book had puns around the character's name, Piscine, using 'pee' and 'pissing' yet the guy in the tv pronounces it as in Pie.

Watched Skyfall finally and have to say pleasantly entertained and it feels like the bondiest film in awhile with quips and villians and obvious and subtle nos to bond past. The dynamic between Bond and M is probably the most entertaining and its definitly thematic as well to the villain its quite obvious whats going on after awhile. Also the fact that its quite about technolgy of the modern world versus old style spying is quite intereating and makes the finale unexpected and entertaining. The villian is played again quite creepily by Bardem and Daniel Crqig is greqt at playing the one liners. All in all a must see.

I've just watched Skyfall. I loved it. Entertaining all around. Bardem is simply brilliant in his performance. I loved all the nods to old movies. It's a movie celebrating Bond and I love it for that. Still I agree with JG on that Casino Royale is a stronger film.
Actually, I want to change some of the comments I made regarding Skyfall. More and more, over thinking on it, I'm liking it less and less and I find I prefer the first half as the second half just gets so preposterous with how many things need to line up for it to work. There are tons more plot-holes in that over the first, too. Still good, but definitely flawed. It does make me want to go back and watch Quantum of Solace though.
When you go looking for flaws you will find them, don't be over thinking movies, man. ;)

@The JG Man, same fore me, the first half was much better when they were setting things up rather than when they start resolving stuff.
Just watched Skyfall for the second time, still one of my preffered Bond films but I think Casino Royale is much better, but then it would take something pretty damn special to beat that. It feels like a bit of tribute movie, which for me felt a little bit at odds with the way the Craig films have tried so desperately to move away from the older movies. Which isn't a terrible thing, but it will get old quickly if they do the same kind of thing in the next film. Still, I wish they went the whole hog right at the end and had Bond say, "I think he got the point", instead of the rather anticlimatic "last rat standing".
Watched Sword of the Stranger for a second time,still great anime. Check it out.

Saw "Flight" in the theater over the holiday. It's quite good.
Skyfall - I guess I liked it (opening sequence aside) but I'm getting increasingly tired of films that rely on snappy one-liners for the majority of their charm, even if it is a Bond film. I actually ended up falling asleep late in the third act as I had been awake for far too long, so I'll probably end up having to watch that part again before passing final judgement.
Primer, again - Still makes my brain bleed. I find it interesting that Carruth was given special thanks in Looper, considering how wildly different the two movies approach time travel.
Went to see Skyfall, enjoyed the performances, but the script was very flabby (lots of lecturing) and frequently lacking in purpose. I kept asking myself "why do that?" It was watchable, entertaining though long, but nowhere near as good as Casino Royale.
Skyfall finally opens today. So fingers crossed I might watch it tonight.
Where do you live? Because I thought movies were late here in The Netherlands.
I've re-watched Beetlejuice since 10 years ago and it's crazy how much I remembered and how much longer the movie seemed when I was younger.
