All files are in, I just updated the .sav file which you should put in your game folder. You can now all submit your first turn and then overwrite the file in the .trn folder.
The map is... pretty special :)
This is going to be awesome. I've never played with 6 players, my brain is already melting when I think of all the possibilities.
ps: for communicating, use RPS PM system or better yet (though not as flexible) use the in-game messaging (from Diplomacy screen). It's more atmospheric :) But you can only send one per turn...

Congrats everyone for our first turn. Yay! I'm going to try and sort of keep a running diary. If anyone else has an inclination to do so it could make a nice AAR. I won't announce every turn here but looks like we're all keeping an eye on the dropbox folder ;)

Are you keeping a backup of the .trn and .sav files? I have yet to see a crash in 1.07b but there are other ways the files can get messed up so I'd strongly advise keeping the last turns and save somewhere.
And Dolphan, you are going to pay for that.

Actually I meant bidding on Temeluchas. Since bidding can only tie with someone of the same rank it must have been you that massively overbid exactly the same amount as me!

Ha, I've just read the requirements for a tie, they must be pretty damn unusual (although most likely in the first few turns I guess).

@baboonanza: the beauty of using dropbox is that it keeps older versions when you overwrite.

Could have an issue here. Everytime I load the save I get a script error and the message:

You're on 1.07c right?. Also, I'm using rectification rules, in case there's a checkbox for you to tick on your side (there was on mine when I created the game, but since I'm host I don't think you guys have that option anyway).
Only thing I can suggest is send an email to Vic he's really really good at responding to support emails.
By the way, folks, please take a regular look at the .sav file in the dropbox and if the time-stamp is more recent than the one in your game folder, it means it's time for you to copy the file over and take your turn.

Yeh pretty sure I'm on 1.07c. The game menu doesn't say its on that version, but I copied the three files and the folder over, and I can see all the new units etc.

Says it fixes a bunch of critical bugs with the new content. I think we can update to the incremental ones mid-game.
I'll try a clean install with that tonight, sorry about the delay chaps and chappettes.
