I can't believe how kick-ass the new album from De Lirium's Order is. Just the opening song kicks my socks somewhere close to Ulan Bator. And the video reminds me of The Machinist for some reason.

They've been at it since the mid-eighties but there's still noone that sounds like Macabre.

October Falls and Arckanum, and I'm pretty sure I picked up one or both from this thread. :-)

The new Diablo Swing Orchestra album is out, and it not only stole my soul but also placed it as a bet with the devil in a fiddle-contest involving my entrails and bones. Which it then won.

    I mean HOLY FUCK.

How many people remember Old Lady Drivers? They put out five albums with one of those being a remix album that I haven't heard yet and a split with Assück and everything that they've done is genuinely fantastic. Go on, give 'em a listen.

    Lepers Without Feet
    Outlive
    Freak Now
    Underglass

Yep, that's all by the same band. You'd have to have some incredibly open-minded fans if you want them to stay with you when you progress so much that your band sounds like three entirely different ones by the time you put it to rest and I must be very open minded because I am so down with this band I'm practically subterranean.

This was the line-up for the gig I went to last night:

    Slabdragger
    Sardonis
    Acid King

Followed by the Mighty Saint Vitus!

Nasum seems to be in tight live condition. Can't wait to see 'em.

Interesting vid mainly to see Morbid Angel being young and playing their older stuff. For some reason listening to stuff on record can desensitize me to how batshit the music is. When they launch into Suffocation here it is, technically, freeking insane.

Shame their newer stuff seems to be about killer cults / kill a cop(?)

That Morbid Angel video is awesome! I'm hoping to see their tour with Swans
