Hadn't heard them before, sounds good though.. got that churning Amebix-ey aura with a dash of Hellbastard groove.. the singer sounds like modern day Fenriz.. I like!

Wyrd has never been anything really special, mainly because the song lengths are too long and the songs too repetitive, but this is one song I enjoy.

It's been years since I listened to Old Man Gloom, but I can't belp but get excited about the prospect of a new album:

Fuckin' shame about Hydra Head though.

Not sure if this was already mentioned. The opening groove is so simple, yet so awesome.

So, new Wintersun-album came out finally. Can't say that I'm impressed.

So, I've never been a dedicated metalhead or anything, but it's always had a fairly prominent place in my musical tastes. Lately though I've just been on a really strong kick that's been dominated by Otep, Meshuggah, and Dimmu Borgir(a side effect of me finding a couple bands I like and not venturing much further). And earlier today, while driving to work and getting my fix, I stumbled across a song that I had forgotten I had. And I was happy for finding it, so I've come to make my first of what will no doubt be very few posts in this thread to share it with you.

The influence on Immortal's Call Of the Wintermoon video? Probably. Stylistically both are pretty similar.

That Raubtier song sounds almost exactly like Rammstein.
