Live Evil Mix 2011 has some real cool shit on it, really makes me wish that I lived in London so I could go to the festival. Oh well.

Esoteric is the word used to describe Cirith Ungol.
Don't know if this has been posted, but hey. This is a slightly crap quality version.
What I like:
Converge
Cursed
Trap Them
Botch:
If you thought that Candlemass could have been a bit heavier.
Just noticed this thread type thing. Was going to post some stuff like funny Immortal vids, how awsome Negative Plane are or whatnot but it looks like Spacewalk beat me to about 90% of it.
Ildjarn (i.e. how to be as raw as possible without actually resorting to being noise)
Sort Voktor (i.e. Ildjarn with Keyboards)
Graveland (Horrible recording quality, dodgy politics, awful drumming, but music clicks with me)

It's because I'm totally obsessed of metal.
THRASH 'TIL DIE
TO GLORY OF ATTACK
ATTACK WITH SPELL
IN MY ATTACK!
Posting this in memory of Cory Smoot, the guitarist from GWAR who was also the character Flattus Maximus. R.I.P.
Nice to hear an Abigail song from a time before everything Yasayuki did revolved around his penis.THRASH 'TIL DIE
TO GLORY OF ATTACK
ATTACK WITH SPELL
IN MY ATTACK!
Talking about Attacking with Spell...
Songs involving fucking growns and masterbating to kill yourself should be crowned.
And on a side note why do I like music with really, really bad timing?
Seein as they're playing in Dublin tonight and a lot of my friends are going. Christopher Lee was speaking in my college yesterday... coincidence?
I wouldn't be surprised considering that they got him to do the narration on Dark Avenger when they re-recorded Battle Hymns last year so maybe he will make an appearance.
Hellhammer is probably to blame. Or Venom, they couldn't play either. Are you familiar with both? I've found that listening to Hellhammer demos and Welcome To Hell back-to-back for an entire week erases any concepts of musical virtuosity and stellar productions from your mind.
Orson Welles is dead! Ol Mr Lee is a suitable replacement though.
I hope I know Hellhammer considering I have the Demon Entrails 3 LP sitting in my vinyl box alongside a beat-up car boot copy of Apoc raids.
The question was kinda rhetorical though. Pick a few of the old 80s bands like Venom, Hellhammer, Sodom, Napalm Death, Possessed or whatnot and you get the old FASTER FASTER FASTER! vibe from them. Playing far faster then you are capable of keeping time with? WHO CARES! FASTER!!! AGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Today's soundtrack is provided by Burzum
and Nile
What do these bands have in common? I spent the past two hours sewing patches on my jacket.
That Angel Of Death album slays, probably not in the top tier of thrash metal (pretty close though) but it still does the job.
I thought no one played this kind of music these days. Warbringer.
Oh, and while we're at it, there's another band I've stumbled upon recently - Lazarus A.D. They play some sort of modern-thrash-metal-stuff, I'm not too good at pointing out subgenres. Anyway, I like it for some reason.

One day my log will have something to say about this.
WARNING: The following video may contain elements of AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
And some serious stuff from Candlemass
