Saw Benediction at Damnation 08, and enjoyed them. Anaal I've listened to a little and liked, Mistress not so much.

Mistress' appearance on Never Mind the Buzzcocks wasn't half hilarious though, they can have that.

So, this is my second favourite band Slaughter. Their album Strappado is pretty sick, like if Hellhammer had recorded Reign In Blood instead of Slayer.

A playlist with a song off of each Manilla Road album except for Circus Maximus since that isn't really a Manilla Road album. In short, my favourite band. Thirteen albums and not a bad one yet which is unheard of. They have a new one coming out later in the year and I am dead set certain that it will be another winner, my faith in them is unshakable.

Most likely my only contribution to this thread will be to say that the following video is gloriously mental.

What, all UK people? No folkmetal? No vikings? :( Let's fix that!

Most metal bores me to death, and I hate all the guitar wankery, but I am rather fond of some industrial.

I'm going to have to plug Slipknot cause 1) I love them and 2) they're local for me :)

Local as in, the first bit of that last video was filmed about 5 miles from my house (hint: it's in the band's home city).
