Is there any way to extend the amount of time it takes before it logs you out? I have a tendency to keep this open in the background and seem to be spending as much time logging back in as I do reading posts.

Seconded... I'm too lazy to log in all the time to all my forums, social networks, websites. The reason I allow Cookies is that I allow Cookies, so can I just stay logged in indefinitely if I choose so?

Well, usually the reason why people allow Cookies is that they don't know any better. I figured it's a good argument! :)

Can we have the old Orkish (Orkesque?) user titles? Like Snotling instead of Obscure Node.

I quite like being an obscure node.

Almost forgot, it seems the new forum doesn't support RSS, and I used to be subscribed to a couple of topics before.
One day my log will have something to say about this.

Yeah, along with moaning about no RSS feeds, a steam profile button (or display like that shown) would be most excellent, as I'm confident most folks use steam, whereas skype etc. are probably less widely used/less gamery...

I'd love a rep system that is based around biscuits. Because whenever I see a post I think "YES! You deserve a biscuit". So if every post had a "Give Biscuit" button at the bottom, that'd be great.

To go along with the rules thread and general breaking in of the forums, an announcement reminding people to turn on e-mail notification for PMs, up their posts per page and otherwise do settings housecleaning that wasn't even an option on the old forums might be worthwhile?

Just to let you know I'm taking the What's New button and pondering it as an existential question:
    "What is new?"
Why are you wearing that stupid human suit?

I'll throw my complaint/wish for RSS into the thread too :)

I like that there's a "Report post as spam" button on each post. That's useful.

There does seem to be more spam than there was recently on the old forum, though.

Shit, you have to turn notifications ON? Cheers for the heads up.

I can't hear it anymore. Okay, you guys don't like consoles, I get it, but please stop throwing words like "consolization" or "dumbed down" around like it they actually mean something. The sheer amount of this makes the forums almost unreadable to me. I guess some anti-console bias is to be expected from a PC-gaming community but the amount of smug patronization has become intolerable. Just because I have a couple of consoles and enjoy playing with them doesn't mean I'm mentally retarded or some form of subhuman, thank you very much. Bah.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. The current wave of hatred is merely the result of an unfortunate conjunction of circumstances - most notably E3 - lending themselves to such passions. It'll pass.
