There's this option in VLC to view videos in ASCII format, but when I view them it's too difficult to make out what's going on.
In the example provided by this guy (especially at the end)-

the effect is better, there are far more lines making it a lot easier to understand.... (there are also instructions to get the ASCII effect)
Anyone know how I might achieve something close to this with my own videos?
Should I just do something in far higher quality? If I shrink the screen way down it's better, could I make a large video and shrink it to normal size?
Maybe this should be in tech help? Seems to be mostly hardware over there...
