I'm of the opinion there should be another game mode just for TTM teams, one in which you score by 'kick' rather than touchdown. Throw a ball carrying player between the posts to score!
That would be a lot of fun :) I've never (yet) managed to throw a little guy off the pitch, myself.
I have. I used to have a gobbo team.
Turn 16 1-1. My star player, Smiley Fullgut, has the ball and very tiny legs, there's no way he can get to the endzone. My treewoman, Annie Oakley, hurls Fullgut maximum distance and he flies beautifully. Too well. Far too well for one so well built by nature and appetite to be unaerodynamic. Every scatter pointed towards the endzone. Every roll a 6. In her enthusiasm, Annie had launched Fullgut over the bleachers, where he landed in cartpark and apparently disturbed an ogre's bbq, ending up as the main course.
Do you have any idea how fucking hard it is to keep a halfling alive long enough to consider him your star player?

I ended up getting a couple more rerolls and an apoc in case one of my treemans got hurt, since the 870ishness of my opponent scuppered the 600TV plan anyway. I can always get rid of them again if I somehow make it to the next round.
Goblins vs. Flings, the mind boggles. 10:00pm on Monday would be good, or 8:00 on Tuesday or Thursday.
