Dead Space 3 is $40 on Amazon today only, if that's a deal to anyone.

Edit: I probably could have left a link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0088TPV54/

I can't tell if that's Origin or a retail package. I'm in if it's digital. I have no patience for keeping up with discs anymore.

I believe both the download and physical versions are $40.

For reference, that's just under 26 in Blighty - still a bit high for me, given my backlog. Would like to play it, just not that much.

RO is still the most authentic WW2 shooter made, get it. There are still some busy servers for the Darkest Hour mod. I enjoyed the vanilla game but Darkest Hour seems to gather the most players now. It's sad that RO2 failed to bring the combined arms/huge ass maps like RO1/Darkest Hour did.

I didn't see anyone posting this (and don't know if it's news) but BF3 is going for 9.99 Euros in Origin (at least for France).

€20 in Finland, and Premium is €36. Sadness.

It's 15 at Gamefly - Don't know if that qualifies for a decent sale, but it's an option.

I've not seen it under 15 anywhere yet. Considering how much entertainment I got out of it, I'd say 15 is a decent sale price.

I pretty much "dived into the sea" from 2 weeks onwards - the only people who paid more than 20 were those who just had to have it. I guess that means a really cheap sale may be further-off, but given the sort of game we're talking about I think the 12-13 it's been down to is pretty decent value.

If you want it for 3 you might have to wait until Christmas - it might get under 10 in the summer perhaps?

Does it have a single player campaign or bots? or is it purely multiplayer? I was about to buy it in the past, but my internet access sucks.

It was 12 in a rare alignment of planets during the Amazon Editor's Choice thing in January when they combined an overall discount with the added discount of the $5 coupon. I've not seen it cheaper than that. I think 10 during the summer sales is a pretty likely possibility, but definitely not cheaper than that, so whether you dive on that GameFly deal depends if you think you'll get that extra 5 of value out of it between now and the summer.

I definitely don't regret the ~12 it set me back, but similarly I'm not sure I'll be aching to return to it again any time soon.

X-Com will be 60 % off on GMG tomorrow, I think. For me, that makes it $20. Add the 20 % off coupon (I think it's applicable) and the price falls to $16=10.45. I'm not sure what their base GBP price is, though.

Oh, and that also provides a 30 % off coupon on the DLC, I think.

Oh 2, it has just begun. It's also 15 on Gamefly.

Oh the Third, I'll add links:

    http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/se/e...enemy-unknown/
    http://www.gamefly.co.uk/Download-XC...kingid=cmju510

Hell-oh again, it's 11.99 before coupon on GMG, 9.59 after.

Adding that GMG link to my basket and applying the discount code (GMG20-P4DLK-FKYRS) brings the price to 9.60. Good find. I highly doubt you'll find it cheaper than that for at least the next few months.

Bots. It's designed as a MP game; there isn't much (if any) SP content.

It was a great game though, sadly there aren't many players anymore. I last played it in early 2012, when there was maybe two servers worth of people playing Darkest Hour mod, and about the same on vanilla.

In my opinion, a pointless purchase at this point.

I guess that's one of the perks of staying away from the Euro. Still pay Euros on Steam, though. That's actually the main reason for me basically abandoning the Steam store.

Origin screws Sweden over royally, however. Their $1=€1=10 SEK policy gives us a nice 59 % increase.

Sad. I love military simulators, and a WWII based one could be very interesting.
