Any thoughts on Omertà: City of Gangsters?

$9.99 on Steam at the moment.

Checking around it it seems it was awful on release but had potential if fixed up.

You'd be better off burning your money. The flames would entertain you for 5 seconds, which is more entertainment than you'd get from Omerta. And burning your fingers would hurt less, too.

Not much room for discussion there. Thanks for the warning - I'll hack into the backlog instead.

    BL2 off 50% on amazon.com.

Best recorded price for the season pass, according to isthereanydeal.com.

As it is in $ it's a rather good deal.

I'm curious about it but what I've read about it, didn't leave much room for hope. Given the wealth of excellent games you can get for that sum (or less), I'm surprised the price hasn't been slashed so far... I might still pick it up if/when it finally reaches super-duper bargain bin status.

If you can neurally filter the "EFF YEAH AMURICA" from the plot I actually found the story rather interesting, a villain I'd want to return in a sequel? A villain with a plan that actually makes sense, which has plausible goals?

I'm ignoring the return to form of the multiplayer, the wonderfully integrated coop, the free-form 4E missions and the dogs. Probably the most harrowing dogs.. I use non lethal options on the murderous attack dogs when I can.
I'm failing to writing a blog, specifically about playing games the wrong way

GOG are giving away Fallout 1, 2 and tactics - http://www.gog.com/promo/fallout_ser...ter_promo_2013. I still have the boxed copies, but you can never get enough "proper" Fallout!

Valid for roughly another 47 hours, 47 minutes and 47 seconds

Unfortunately it seems half the internet is trying to get into their site at the minute. Login keeps timing out.

It's on the frontpage now, wouldnt expect anything less. I love GOG's reasoning: "The DRM-free store doesn’t reckon it’ll be allowed to peddle them after year’s end as the current deal with Interplay will expire."

The "buy"-button is loading endlessly, even though the page itself is fully loaded. I guess it will wake up eventually...

Driver SF cheap at Nuuvem - just over 3 Jim Sterling / 5 Ameribucks.

I know there's much love for it here; but I've also seen it described as "cars on ice."

Experiences? My real question is whether it gives opportunities to drive around freely. Or is it all just missions and races?

There's a city. You may freely drive around it as you see fit.

Lots of free roaming possibility, but the cars handle like lead bricks.

Be forewarned that there's no Steam key for Driver and uPlay's download cache was automatically located on my SSD, despite the fact that %TEMP% is somewhere else entirely. -.-
