Space Pirates and Zombies is one of the weekend deals on Steam. 60% off (I think it was 75% off during the winter sale).
I played it for about a hundred hours in a week, and am thinking of replaying it, so I would recommend it.

I second that, it's a great game.
Was hoping the weekend deal might have been prompted by the new update, but nope, its still in testing.
Definitely worth the $4, excellent game.

Buying games you aren't going to play is a waste of money (no matter how cheap they are). Forcing yourself to play games you wish you hadn't bought is a waste of time. Both are best avoided.
I'm failing to writing a blog, specifically about playing games the wrong way

Victoria II is 5 pounds / 6 euro on Gamersgate; compare to 20 euro on Steam. I suspect this is a weekend deal, but I can't find the expiry date on it anywhere.
I haven't tried Victoria II, but judging by the accumulated wisdom of the RPS forums it's less user-friendly than EU3, so I think I'll pass on it for now.
Edit: Bah, apparently 6.78 euro - don't know why they weren't showing me the euro price last night.

Lots of games I really enjoyed, and then it's 2D so mods HD them up nicely so you only really need to worry about the gameplay.

of the Sword Coast, Baldur’s Gate
II: Shadows of Amn, Baldur’s Gate
II: Throne of Bhaal, Icewind Dale,
Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter,
Icewind Dale: Trials of the
Luremaster, Icewind Dale II,
Planescape: Torment & The Temple

Looks strangely compelling to me. Anyone played it?

I received a mail-out saying there's a couple of deals coming up on Get Games Go starting at 6pm GMT today:
Serious Sam 3 BFE 66% off = £9.99. 24 hours only. Which I think is the cheapest it's been.
And yet another Deus Ex HR 70% off deal = £8.99. 48 hours only. Not sure if the DLC is also on sale, check back after 6 tonight.
Edit: SS3 £10.19. DX:HR Missing Link is also 70% off.

GOG has 50% off of Strategy First games which too many gems to list them all.

Play Arma2:CO with us. (It isn't nearly as difficult as you might think.)
It's okay to not like things.
Looks like some people bought Serious Sam 3 on GetGamesGo and got 2nd Encounter instead. Oops :)

That and the dollar/euro parity persuaded me to wait for a better deal.
Anyone know if SS3 is for steam or not
Vinraith: You mean A House Divided? I noticed that, and will be interested to see how it turns out.

How do you guys feel about the DCS Blackhawk game on the deal of the day? All I have is a Thrustmaster Hotas. Is this sufficient to play? Or should I just wait to get Take On Helicopters when it goes on sale?
