In any case, Freespace 1 and the expansion have been ported to freespace 2, and is available on hardlight. So you only have to buy the one.

AMERICANS: All of Amazon.com's gold box deals are video games today. Maybe check back every so often?
Buying games you aren't going to play is a waste of money (no matter how cheap they are). Forcing yourself to play games you wish you hadn't bought is a waste of time. Both are best avoided.
Time Gentlemen, Please! and Ben There, Dan That! Double Pack is the Steam deal of the day.
BUY IT. These are some of the funniest games I've ever played.
well Overlord II has one of my favorite features in a game
throwing rocks with a catapult to a line of soldiers.
A lot of games would be improved with a catapult
... can't wait for Rock of Ages....
Time Gentlemen, Please! and Ben There, Dan That! Double Pack
£0.75
edit: its already been posted
Tiny Bang Story is $2 on US D2D today. Walker said it's a "buy" order at under £8.
Here's something I had no idea was in the works. Beta keys for Hearts of Iron: The Card Game. Looks like an in-browser pay per play game, but the beta key gets you some cards and boosters to try. After nabbing the key, the link to the beta site clicks through to the wrong place. Here is the right place.
Magicka is 3.5€ on green man gaming
DLCs are the same price as they are on steam though.
Play Arma2:CO with us. (It isn't nearly as difficult as you might think.)
It's okay to not like things.

Still periodically browsing over GOG's Interplay sale. What's the story with Stonekeep? I apparently missed it in its day, is there any reason to give it a look now? I tlooks kind of Ultima Undworld-ish.

I've got a pretty high "old graphics" tolerance, the screens look alright to me. The question, really, is about the gameplay.

Well, it's been years since I played it. But I seem to remember there was a heck of a lot of mapping (Eye of the Beholder style) and not much actual fighting and adventuring.
There's a game called Menzoberranzan. Similar style (but party based) but much more exciting - more varied locations and lots of fighting. Anyone remember it? Here's some menzo screens:
This is the bargain thread, I think, so can anyone find this old game at a good price? That is your quest for the week.

So, summer sales should be going on anytime now(was jun 24th last year). What you guys pretend on getting ?
I've been banging my head for not getting Titan Quest last year so that's a no-brainer in case it get's in, aside from that I probably won't be buying anything else, pretty much all I want now are pre-orders.
