Silent Storm "Gold Edition" for 9.99 USD. The description is not very clear, but Gold apparently contains 'two full games'. It just doesn't say which one the second game is (Sentinels, perhaps).

So Steam has F3AR on offer for the umpteenth time (8€) as midweek madness, the daily is Velvet Assassin (1.69€) and... the potato sack for 18.99€?
Seems kinda strange that they'd put the potato sack on sale, specially considering how close the summer sale is supposed to be. Is this the herald of some announcement, perhaps? Or am I a paranoid fuck? My money is on the latter, but who knows.
Points about Velvet Assassin:
Slightly wobbly 3rd person stealth game in which you play a lady who walks around in tight clothes and/or not much (depending on the part of the game) and you stab lots and lots of Nazis. Based on real life. Odd mix of Max Payne and Tom Cuhlancey's Splinter Cell and maybe a bit of FEEF in there for good measure.
I didn't quite take to it.
Everything I read about that game made it sound thoroughly stupid.
Irrelevant on further examination of the rest of the thread.
It's actually not that bad at all. It is slightly wonky in terms of polish but it has some good ideas, and is bloody hard and unforgiving at times too. For that price it's worth trying.
Game of Thrones RPG for £15 retail from simplygames, RPS Wot I Think here.
Silent Storm has also been hex edited to allow computers with more than 4 gigs of RAM to play it.

From Dust is £2.87 on the GameFly sale today. Worth it at that price?
Unless I'm missing something (I'm tired, I might be), it doesn't mention DRM anywhere on that page....this was the title with the stupid drm that subsequently got scaled back, right? Was it removed entirely (she said hopefully)? I also vaguely recall reports of it being buggy, did it get fixed?

It has the Ubisoft wrapper... not sure about the specifics of the DRM though. I like the game a bunch. It's not a traditional god game, which frustrated many, but more of a "soft" puzzle/simulation game where you manipulate elements to achieve goals.
I see Risen on gamefly for £3.75, is it worth it for that price? may pick it up Friday if it is still on offer, I need a decent RPG to get into since The Witcher did not please me.
From that gamefly sale. Hows Pirates of the Black Cove? I kinda was meh on the demo, hows the full thing?
From Dust is great, and really worth it on that price. As Giaddon says, its a soft puzzler using lava/water, won't take much time, but good for a evening or twos play, it has the usual Ubisoft thing around it, how you take that is an ecumenical matter.
I quite enjoyed From Dust. It's nothing too complicated or challenging, but it's a nice take on water-physics puzzlers (if that's even a genre!).

Or 12.50€ in Euroland where apparently, we like to take it up the arse.
Edit: Spore is also on sale, with the game and each DLC discounted by 75% or a pack with all of it for 15€.
Regarding the GameFly sale, add HOTUK0611 to the mix to receive an extra 10% off, dunno if it works on the .com version of the site.
