Anyone else had problems with gamefly, tried to order Transformers yesterday and the purchasing got stuck on submitted. I emailed them asking wtf was up and they said someone will phone me to do the order manually. Waited a few hours and nothing so cancelled. Useless service, never going to use them again.

And you don't say where the deal is from, silly! Steam's daily. Anyhow, it's 75% off. The page for it seems to say that an internet connection is required for installation, nothing about anything else.

This was actually a game I was interested in...I'll wait till the summer sale. At worst, I'll be delaying getting it at the same price. At best, it'll be an extra quid off (unlikely, but hey). Gives me those few days to decrease the backlog.

I'm truly tempted too but I'll do the same. It's not like I don't have things to play right now.

I don't see anything about limited installs though, did I miss it?

Edit: Further research indicates that yes, there are install limits (with deactivations, but still). For a game I was borderline about, that's enough to push me to the "no buy" column.

Honestly if you have any love for racing games it's worth it at that price. It's got one of the best at making you feel good and tricking you into thinking you're playing a sim, but sti being arcades enough to be enjoyable.

Well played SEGA, but the last Total War game I finished a run of was Rome, I still have barely dipped my toe into Med2, Empire or Nap all of which I own by way of insanity sales.

Why is it when the generally abused and sale wise doubly so Euros get the stamp their feet about sales no-one minds but when the generally sale ultra privledged UK-ians do the same I get sassed? Yeah, I do get it, but still, NO OCEANS!

Rage is a great journey that lacks a real ending, same with Bulletstorm if you can tolerate genuine difficulty, at its worst you will have to try things a few times to get through, but the check pointing is pretty good.

Trying not to run out of ammo is probbly the biggest complaint as you need ammo choice to actually pull off the better skill shots to get the ammo.

Rage is a great game though, Bulletstorm mostly just good,I wouldn't call either generic no idea about Singularity.

I'm not sassing you, I'm saying it's not on sale in the UK. If it was on sale for £15 whereas in the US it was $5, then sure I'd be on your side, but I'm just pointing out that the UK version isn't on sale.

Singularity very obviously takes a lot of inspiration from Bioshock, but I still wouldn't call it generic. It's Bioshock with a heavier sci-fi lean to it, and a story involving time-travel and the Russians taking over the world. Has some interesting weapons and interesting set-pieces, but ultimately it's still a B-grade affair.
