I just tried this somewhat shady cdkey selling site. Haven't used any of those earlier but these things I bought are supposed to activate on steam. We'll see later I guess. Anyway some great deals there, grabbed Gods and Kings for 9 euros and Spec Ops: The Line for 16 euros. I'll report tomorrow if I actually received the keys :)

intkeys isn't shady. and by not shady i mean you'll get your keys or you'll get your money back.

you should make sure that the keys you're buying are region-free, though. or else you should have a vpn with the proper ip address for the activation process.

Well so far good I guess. I got the Gods and Kings key in about 3 hours but am still waiting for the Spec Ops key. They are supposed to give extra 10% discount though if it takes longer than 24 hours. Checked, these both were region free and steam activate.

And Little Big Adventure 2 is also good from what I hear (I couldn't get over the controls :-/ )

I think this deal has been floating around for a while now, but I just picked up Borderlands 2 on GMG for $40 using PARTP-ALCNO-TIESU. Not too shabby to get a Steam key.

Given that's 75% off on steam. For someone who loves Homeworld. What are the people thoughts on Flotilla?

It's cute. Not reeeeeally the same thing as Homeworld, in fact I'd say probably the closest reference is sort of Frozen Synapse meets Strange Adventures In Infinite Space, all infused with Blendo's usual sense of whimsy. Definitely worth a punt.

Its not as good as Atom Zombie Smasher, and you'll get bored of the AI opponents behaviour, taking turns with extremely little meaningful choice, and losing out to weapon scatter.

Its not really that good, but when you first play it, its a mini marvel.
I'm failing to writing a blog, specifically about playing games the wrong way

    Awesome, thanks!

Did GMG always allow PayPal? Just noticed they had it so hopefully for once my bank won't lock my card for buying from them.

The battles are simple, samey, and way too long. The planetary adventures are cute and interesting, but the time it takes to play out the dull battles ruins the flow. I'd avoid it.

GMG has a Dark Souls offer - trade in one of those free games they gave away two weeks ago for 7 dollars off (starting price is 39.99). You can add the others for 0.50 each. They also activated a Men of War trade-in offer, it's 3 dollars.

Just in case anyone missed a Steam Summer Indie Bundle that was looking forward to buy, they are all 75% off again. ^^
