As to whether they will: Square-Enix needs money and this is a pretty low cost solution, but I suspect they would want to wait a few months just to get all the sales from people who want to be the shiniest belle at the ball.
Digital Foundry did a comparisson. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/di...t-gen-face-off

Basically, yes, the DE has a few upgrades on PC, but doesn't improve on it in all respects, including general image quality and performance. Certainly not worth passing up the chance to get it for under a fiver.

Kingdoms of Amalur is finally on sale on Steam for just $5.99

    http://store.steampowered.com/app/102500/

Apparently the DLC uses third-party DRM, but the base game does not.

I've been waiting on this. I picked up the complete pack for $12.

Inversion looks like bloody crap, but Enslaved is worth $5 or $7.4bits by itself, IMHO

Honestly it's a little on rails, and can't say I love the stealthy parts, but it has some great set pieces and the characters and environment are a lot of fun. Played it on PS3, where it's probably most similar to something like the Uncharted series.

Thanks for that. Enslaved was on my Steam wishlist and with the $5 EC coupon I didn't even know I had, it was dirt cheap.

Just scooped up the Enslaved bundle. I'm so glad I never broke down and paid for the DLC on PS3. I bet you it's still $10 today. Guess this means I can finally trade in my PS3 copy.

Inversion is a perfectly adequate shooter with very neat gimmicks and one of the best 3D implementations ever.

After playing a lot of Hearthstone I had a craving for Warcraft 3 (which I hated years ago). You can buy it from the NA Battle.net store for 10 dollars. It works in EU. The expansion is also 10 dollars.

Grainger Games is like CEX only slightly more likely to own a Hummer and hire hookers ;0

They also have a reputation for not having a lot of stock of anything they offer - they went through a phase of self-plugging on things like HUKD when they clearly had about 10 copies 'cheap' just for the publicity...

GetGamesGo has a Ubi Shooters weekend on (not for Americanos happarently)

I've never played a Ghost Recon or Rainbow 6 game - I don't play games like that in MP at all - is there a decent/worthwhile SP option in there?

    Also Hawx? Yes or no?

They actually started doing sales as of December 2013. Starcraft 2 and expansion were both discounted to actually reasonable prices.
    Steam: Gundato
    PSN: Gundato
If you want me on either service, I suggest PMing me here first to let me know who you are.

Thanks for the heads-up--purchased it. From it's #1 rank of the Amazon digital games sales list, it looks like a lot of other people are doing the same thing.

Damn - I'm still planning on playing HoTS someday. Wish I'd seen that.

Of course, it's totally clear which game I'm talking about. Blizzard's HoTS ...

Shaun White Snowboarding on GMG, 2,5€. DRM Free, at least the retail version.

The best (and probably only) snowboarding game on PC, bar SkiFree.
Steam(shots), Imgur, Bak'laag, why do you forsake me?

Good SP Ghost Recon or Rainbow Six? Not there, no, Ghost Recon (original) and Rainbow Six 3 are the best, Vegas and Vegas 2 are only half good in MP, SP is pretty dire. Ghost Recon Future Soldier was alright if you want a Call of Duty-ish near-future third person shooter with the gun porn turned up to 11. However, from that list, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger and Far Cry: Blood Dragon are pretty good (and SP-only), Blood Dragon was better than Far Cry 3 in my opinion.

HAWX... Meh. Depends how badly you want an Ace Combatlike, though it's nowhere near as good as AC was (I'm talking pre-Assault Horizon of course). Still, I can't think of any half-decent arcadey flight games featuring modern aircraft beyond Flaming Cliffs 3 so it's probably the least shit one you can get. That is if I'm not forgetting anything.
