Indiegamestand are having a sale here - https://indiegamestand.com/store/browse.php?tab=on_sale

I'd like to bring your attention to Steammarines, which is a tactical squad based roguelike and quite decent at it too. Its early access on steam at the moment, but there is enough there to keep you playing. Its 50% off at $4.99 with steam key- https://indiegamestand.com/store/154/steam-marines/

Not sure about anything else in there.

Not the first time it's been cheap on GoG however, as I picked it up previously for chips.

It's a Steam code so you should be OK tho I've not tried it.

They also have Crysis 3 for $4.99 which is hard to resist and Reddit tells me that choosing 'Download' and not 'Instant Access' works for non-US peoples (you get an Origin Code rather than linking your Origin Account which does NOT work for non-US customers)

For $5 I'm tempted to test it tho Origin historically is a regional NIGHTMARE.

Thats 2 games with fairly satisying 'bow killing' fun - should make for a good w/e ;0

Looking for the definitive answer: Is Rome II worthwhile for a Total War fan for $29?

Have patches improved things? Are the issues as big as they sound?

Also, can you imagine how long this bundle would take to play:

I'm in the UK and can confirm this worked OK for me. I found an address in Alaska to use. Only thing I'm not sure is how my credit card will handle a transaction in dollars. Will have to see if there's an extra fee...

Depends how big of a fan you are of the Roman era. It’s still missing a lot of the icing that made Total War and is unbalanced as all hell, but Shogun 2 doesn’t have blue-painted barbarians. The core of the game is still as fun and as addictive as ever. A lot of technical issues have been dealt with but some still remain. It took me two weeks just to get it running from release.

The Kickstarter for Waves: Arena Tactics has 11 days left, and if you pledge one pound you get a copy of the original Waves, which is a hell of a bargain!

Selling your last game cheap to raise money for the next game - soon there will be no need for "Kickstarter" sites at all, people will simply sell games, make money, spend money on making more games...

    What?

You say it won't catch on? :)

50% off Decisive Campaigns: The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris.
Rarely depicted period in war games + beautiful UI.

It's not on offer but I'd like to point out that GOG just put up 7th Legion on their site. A game that hearkens back to the days where C&C clones were all the rage; with none of this CoD, DayZ or Flappy Bird shit even being a glint in an amorous programmer's eye.
But even back in the days of 1997, when we in Britain were being told that Things Can Only Get Better (where 'better' is apparently defined as needing a couple of wars and a lot of dead people), people understood that you needed a gimmick if you wanted to be more than a half-decent ripoff. So 7th Legion gave us RTS with cards, or BATTLE CARDS to be more 1997 (the year that brought us both Face/Off and Con Air; the year that dreams came true). These potential game-changers could wreck an enemy army or boost your own, lending an aura of the unknown to every engagement.
And so it was that the game briefly reared it's head above the pack, until Total Annihilation came out around a month later and was a much better game in every single respect.
    All of them.
Which wasn't difficult, as 7th Legion was literally* Hitler when it came to the actual gameplay.

    *figuratively literally
