Hi guys!
I've tried EVE Online several times but never learn to PvP. I would like to join you on GMT nights and enjoy this awesome game.
I'm doing (again) the tutorials so I hope we can play soon.
My character is Torgrim Styx.

Hey Egg, no need to rob an old lady, just conjure up your best puppy dog eyes and give Bob a sad look and he'll probably buy you some gametime (the sucker)!

Still looking for new players!
I am definitely interested in joining in. I am new to EVE entirely, so for the moment am quite content to go through the tutorials as part of my free trial.
One question though - what is the best way to subscribe to EVE? Obviously I can just upgrade my free trial - but there are also things like buddy accounts and the boxed officers edition (which apparently comes with some special implants); any advice? Could I buy the boxed edition and use the code to upgrade my free trial with 30 extra days and get the boosters?
@Mechanicus_
I prefer to buy my time codes through Shattered Crystal. I do it through the Somer BLINK lottery page inside of the EVE browser. This is because you get 50 millions worth of gambling isk if you buy it through that service. I'm not sure if this money is comparable to the special augmentations but the time codes should be able to be used with your account to upgrade it.
I never use any boosters so I won't swear to how efficient they are. I just like gambling!
@Ezhar
It's good that you're taking a bit of time learning the game. Just be aware, EVE uni tends to go out into the Curse region on roams. We also go out there and are always looking to shoot people in the face so you may well end up popping one of your old friends!
And if you tire, we do just as well teaching new people the game. Like it has been stated earlier all we ask is that you've done the tutorials. We'll handle the rest.
@Everybody
We are still looking for more people! We've already let a few rookies in and you could be the next one!

I wouldn't mind jumping back into Eve. Was part of Statecorp for a month or so a few years ago but lacked the funds to keep playing much after my trial ended. How much is the subscription these days?
I'm gonna sign up for another trial tonight to give Incarna a go. If it grips me like Eve use to, i'll probably bring one of my old pilots out of retirement and sub again. I'll look you guys up if the trial goes well
@y2rich
I think it's around 25 euros for 60 days. I'm not quite sure though! I buy all my subscription time in the form of game time codes from Shattered Crystal so I probably don't get the best deal out there.
@y2rich, Scatterbrainpaul
Hope to see both of you in game, you're very welcome to join us lunatics!

I am interested in buying another EVE account and with a possible sale coinciding with the update I think I'll be buying EVE soon, as soon as the servers and the sale is up I think. I've played EVE for about three months most of which I spent mining in a corp so is there a possibility to mine in your corp? Even if you don't I think I'm very interested in this corp.
We don't actively promote mining since there are no miners in the corp. We are a pvp focused corp and our main interest lies with blowing things up. With that said, I'm sure there's room for you in the corp, but we will try our utmost to make you leave mining behind for the glorious life of a pirate.
All things considered my advice is this. If you have zero interest in pvp you are probably better off with a corp that actively seeks to help out miners does mining ops. However, if you are looking to branch out and shoot some people, join us!

Can I just grab the Steam version to join you guys? Not too fussed about a trial as I know what the game is like. Might take me a day or 2 to get the client downloaded.
@y2rich
If you have an old character that you want to bring back I am unsure of how that will work with buying the game from Steam. But if you're looking to start fresh then you can always go ahead and buy the Steam version of the game. Nihilille who has featured here briefly gifted me EVE back when it was on sale, and I am still playing it through the steam client.

I'll look into it when I get home tonight. Will start a new character rather than res my old one.
The Incarna expansion has now been deployed. Probably an interesting time for new players to try the game. So come join RPSH in EVE!

I am currently downloading and installing a 1.8Gb patch (guessing the Steam demo hadn't been updated in a while). Should be on this evening if I'm not at training.
