Looks interesting but terraria update is out in a few days, that's me chained to my computer for hours on end. Will probably check it out when it releases proper though.

Just remember folks (and me...), don't buy a game for what it might become. Buy a game for what it is. If the features you want aren't in yet, don't buy it. The game will still be for sale if and when they ARE added.

If you want me on either service, I suggest PMing me here first to let me know who you are.

My first reaction was 'they're rather unpleasant looking Minifig ripoffs - something less unnerving would be nice" but I like that they have 'game' here and not just 'blocks'.

Unity is usually a put-off for me - you CAN make solid games in it but you can also make flaky crap which LOOKS like a solid game - as a coder, it's approach to coding leaves me shaking my head and saying "it's not 1990 for fucks sake - where's the reuse!?"

(*) I've griped enough on here about DD that someone posted about me in their forums - so HELLO!!!!!!
with unity you can embed several compilers / languages, which let's you make better code. I didn't like the default c like script language so I've hooked it into fpc and tinkered about with object pascal (yeah C++ probably a better choice but I like playing with new languages, was shocked its nothing like old pascal from college it does templates, embedded assembler and really cool stuff with virtual constructors that let's you skip all the class factory boiler plate)

    Yep

Or at least look at forums / feedback on the game, there's the odd early access game that works as a game as is, like syabh, but a hell of a lot of them aren't fully formed games yet.
