Seeking crowdfunding to develop "Enola," a full game of my ludum dare entry
Well as you know, ludum dare 22 was a few weeks ago, and I decided to join the competition. I made Enola, this short moody exploration game based on the theme, and was received well actually. After the contest ended, I began to wonder about making the full game, also considering the main elements of the story were already in my head.
Long story short, I decided to run a crowdfunding campaign to get money and use it to hire people to work with me on the game. My plan for Enola is to make this "horror/adventure" game where you solve puzzles, find clues, and things like that. Basically Enola puts the player (of unknown identity) in a twisted world, and you have to escape. The "horror" part is not like that in monster games, I'm thinking more like The Blair Witch Project, or Se7en, with the uncomfortable situations.
I wanted to keep this message short, so if any of you would like to help, you can see the full campaign (with a longer explanation) here: http://www.indiegogo.com/Enola As usual with crowdfunding campaigns, I'm offering free stuff in exchange of donations, including a DVD with the making of or the full source code of the game after it's released. Those who donate will also get access to alpha builds so they see how the game takes shape instead of waiting for an undefined amount of time to see the finished game.
If you can't donate, you can still help me by sharing the link to the campaign with everyone you know :D
BTW Adam from RPS wrote an article with his "ludum dare picks" and my game was one of them http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2011...um-dare-picks/ :)
Thanks for your time, and if you have any questions, ask."So dark le con of man"

I had never heard of that one. The idea of different "worlds" is somewhat similar to what I'm trying to do, but Enola will have a story (even if it's fragmented, but that's deliberate), about serial killings.
BTW if you can share the link with everyone you know, that would be awesome :D"So dark le con of man"

Updates, updates and more updates...
I took the ludum dare game and updated it to add a few things, since the full game is meant to be a "horror/adventure" game and this update is (just a little) closer to what I have in mind for the full game.
You can download that build (which I call the "prototype") here.
Again, if you want to help me make this game, you can make a donation. Enola is a horror game, but not like those where you fight monsters, zombies, or rubber monsters. I want to focus on a kind of fear more related to the "human condition" and how humans can be as scary, or more scary, than monsters and whatever.
A lot of people wanted to get into the room "you're supposed to stay away from" and originally I wanted the room to be accesible, but I couldn't do it because I ran out of time, so I added the room interior, and added the puzzle that was originally intended to be a part of the game. I also added a second puzzle, AKA a "trap-puzzle." In some adventure games, it's about solving the puzzle, and if you make a mistake then you just trry again, but the trap-puzzle is one of the ways I want to add consequences to your mistakes.
Right now I have what I'll put on the first alpha build that will be made available for those that join the campaign. A graphic designer is going to help, and we decided the look, feel, and such... hint...
BTW I'm not saying the protagonist of the game is a woman. You don't know if it's a man, a woman, a dog, or what. That's something players need to figure out.
EDIT: I changed the uploaded prototype, so I'm changing the download link as well. The Enola mini-prototype can be downloaded here: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?837reoz90oq84kx (link above also changed to this one)
