Actually, RPS also does boardgames. :) Robert Florence (a Scottish comedian) writes a column called Cardboard Children, which is usually posted at the weekend. It's a bit irregular though.
There's even an RPS Cardboard Children meet-up thread!

Do they ever accept new writers? I am a longtime writer/editor in the gaming industry and recently have become, as they say, "freelance."
Er, you'll have to email one of the RPS staff. There are a few freelancers (Tim Stone, Richard Cobbett, Craig Pearson, Dan Griliopoulos etc.) who write here from time to time, but the core team is Jim, John, Alec, and Adam. When Iron Quinns left a few months ago they had a competition to find a new writer, which is how Adam got here.

Robert's review of Space Hulk is hilarious! It made me buy the game! My wife and I promptly hated it... but I resold it for more than I paid, so there is that!
I don't know which is better: how hysterically funny that is, or the fact that my copy is still in the original shrink.
