    Manchester Starcraft

    Hey RPS readers,

If you live in or near Manchester and play Starcraft II you might be interested in this surprisingly popular facebook group I joined the other day:
    http://www.facebook.com/groups/206623569405255/

It's for people who play Starcraft II in Kyoto Lounge (the venue of the RPS Manchester social the Lewie P organised), and there's rather a lot of activity on there as well as announcements for tournaments at Kyoto and when they stream professional matches and project them in the bar. I don't run it or anything, just thought I'd share.

If you fancy playing with or against other RPS readers remember to post your ID in the Starcraft II forum thread. It's not dead at all, just that I expect most SC2 players prefer to play on their own:

No way really? I'll have to check that out.

    Checking it now:

There does seem to be some kind of saturday event, I'm not entirely sure what it is though. There's also a 'gamerbase SC2 league' on january the 14th. Right when my final year university exams are... :(

I have a friend who is a frequent attendee of their Sunday Fight Nights, where they get together and play beat-em-ups. He tells me they tend to get together and play SC2 on Saturdays. Dunno what they do exactly though. I am kinda presuming it's similar to what they do during the fight nights i.e. casuals vs. each other, practice etc.
