Any suggestions for tonight? A proper go at reachzone maybe?
Do we have contact to the CIA guys btw.? I know they play both on Tues- and Sundays but we could give them a standing invitation.
I have a feeling I won't be around tonight but if you can give it a go that would be ace.
CIA have their FDF (Finnish Defence Forces) coops going around each tuesday and sunday.. 20:00 CET is start time.
Quick update on the I44 campaign:
Squads are being formed and fitted, the first mission is shaping up nicely. However, the preliminary playdate of "this saturday" will be scrapped due to some scheduling conflicts. So, new preliminary is next saturday, as mid-next week could become a hassle getting everybody on board. There will still be I44 this saturday with squads and all on a custom mission, as a dry-run perhaps.
Folk AAR from [Sun] 06 November 2011 session:
Q: Hey, why isn't this a full-text cross-post like before?
A: Because, comrade, the ArmA2 section of the Folk forum can now be read by everyone!
crossposting from the CIA forums:
as i read your posts, it comes up to my mind, why not making a "Joint OPS Day" weekly? As our Sundays and Tuesdays are reserved for regular coops right now, i would suggest to establish another day (e.g. Thursday) for the beginning. If this turns out to be good over a test period, we could establish this as a regular night on sundays or tuesdays. Just a thought... any opinions?
TonyAs much as I enjoy these Joint-Ops, I don't want to let go of our regular coop nights in their current content, because I enjoy them very much. Part of the glamour and fun of the joint-op activity is based on the fact it doesn't happen every week, but more like a nice holiday... It wouldn't be the same if it will be a weekly activity.
But we do need to look on the option to have it a monthly (or so) activity.I agree with Variable.
It would be nice to have a joint coop once every four weeks, e. g. always on the first Sunday of the month. Having joint coops on any day between Monday and Thursday is not possible for me personally (like the welcome message at the Folk server says: "you don't have time to play").
A monthly or so joint event would indeed be cool. And who knows, maybe it'd become even more frequent as people get to know each other.
Clips are fully loaded, and then blood floods the lawn
I've invited CiA back to a Folk session later in November, but we're just waiting on their members to confirm interest before making any kind of formal plan. If it comes off, I may ask for some assistance in pulling together new/extended missions (in the Folk style)!
Comrades, some updates about forthcoming Folk/ARPS sessions:
1. [Sun] 13 November (inc. Folk Domi)
We'll be attempting to bring the revolution to Domination on Sunday; to find out how please see this post (requires Folk forum account).
2. [Sun] 27 November (with CiA guests)
Our comrades from CiA will once again be joining the struggle for a socialist agrarian utopia. Hopefully it will be every bit as awesome as when they last joined us (public thread).
That all looks rather fun, It's not often I see artillery used on domi. I'll probably be vying to get behind one of those guns, come sunday.

We're always open to newcomers. Server and comms details in the first post, as long as you can join the server, join TS and pretend you're shooting an enemy, you'll be fine. We start at 19:30 GMT, you can hop into the RPS Steam chat beforehand if you need any help.
the Folk forum - not least because more detailed instructions for the Domi attempt are posted there (in a thread that requires an account to view). You may also want to read these threads in advance:
Great! I've registered on the Folk forum (subject to activation). See some of you tomorrow hopefully.
