The following map shows you the most important things. We begin on an airfield off to the North-West. Areas marked with green are the landing zones outlined in the briefing. There's an ammo marker cut off with the northern most tip of the island. It's the cache in the village mentioned in the briefing.

The mission's done. It's missing a proper cinematic but atm. I'm too lazy to do this properly.

no ACRE in the first session as it doesn't work for several regulars and is quite unstable atm.

a parameter to activate it is implemented however and it does work with the mission.

At the certainty of asking a stupid question, what does the "tombola exception" mean?

i would imagine things you don't want to take, also in, will take what ever role. I have no idea what i am doing around that date though.

The exception is the role you're guaranteed *not* to get. Everything else will be distributed in rough order of importance. If the turnout is lower than expected we might just revert to a regular slotting but I thought of the tombola as a good idea to mix up the "special" stuff a bit.

Hi, I'm new here.
Not sure if this is new thread material, but here goes:
I'd like to participate, but I've only got ARMA 2 (retail). Does the Steam version of OA still integrate with the base game if that's retail?
If not, any advice on the best price? I've seen the ARMA X collection (all of ARMA 1 and 2 together) go for 30€ at retail, so I may get that if the downloadable version of OA doesn't integrate with retail ARMA 2.

Yes. Since the 1.60 patch, it even does so automatically! Although you still need to start Arma 2 atleast once after you have installed OA, or something. In case it doesn't work this thread should help.

Excellent. I've bought, downloaded and installed the steam version of Arrowhead, and it integrated fine with the retail version of ARMA 2 (after I thought of patching that). I'll have to test the map and mumble setup later.

I'll most likely be there the 25th, but I might be flooded in work then. I've signed up on the google docs spreadsheet, and I think I've understood what the tombola columns mean. (role preferences, right?)
