This is a Griffin / Gryphon, crafted from wool, and coffee

I think it's nice. It smells like coffee. My wife made it, with much toil and accidental stabbings of fingers. Behold:

I posted this in case any of you were sitting around thinking today, "Huh. Been a while since I seen a wooly griffin."

I can honestly say that's the best wooly Gryphon I've ever seen.

    Agree. Second to none.

Curious why it smells like coffee. Unless actual coffee beans / grounds were used for stuffing. Which would be brilliant btw.
All times I have enjoyed greatly, have suffered greatly, both with those that loved me, and alone.

It's one of the wooly griffin's natural defense mechanisms.

Curious why it smells like coffee
Because it has been SOAKED in COFFEE to make it BROWN!!!
I will, however, suggest the approach of stuffing her creations with coffee beans to save on wool. Because that's awesome.

Never heard of this person! But maybe I will read them there books. (The only griffin-related books I remember reading are The Dark Lord of Derkholm and sequel).

"The griffin is the heraldic symbol of our household and is a noble and beautiful creature" is her just-now-stated reason!

The Vegetable Lamb of Tartary...well, there's a point where explanations fail.
