I'm up for Wargame multiplayer goodness, please give me a shout on steam if anyone wants to play, my steam name is the same - Alethron.
I caved in and bought the game. The RPSt group has been joined.

Again reposting: There’s a supply/repair bug with the new patch. They made repairs slower, but did not decrease the rate of supply consumption proportionally, so units taking a long time to repair will suck up a LOT more supplies than they ought to.
This is a game breaking issue, IMHO. I certainly won't be attempting the final campaign mission again while it's in effect.
It should be fixed very soon, maybe Monday.
There are some problems with the new maps too, and it's likely they'll be addressed.
Late to the party! I got the game yesterday :)
Im up for a bit of multiplayer :)
My steam name is [TGUK] Rossi
My Wargame name is Darkwingstalker
totally new, please invite me to group. Haven't even played yet, but about to remedy that.

Hi everyone,
My Steam ID is Eucliwood. I'm a totally newbie in Wargame EE, however, I found this game very interesting and would like to have some advisors to teach me the arts to "master" it.
Pleased to meet all of you.
I wish to join in on this. I got the game recently and I'm enjoying it immensely :) my Steam name and in-game name is mentor07825.
See you guys in the lines :)
Not buying unless there is a Soviet or WP campaign.
Tell me there is a Soviet SP campaign.
Its actualy 4 short campaigns 2 nato side 2 pact side.
First is a east german west german conflict that spreads and you play a west german commander
Second is civil unrest in Czechoslovakia and you play pact (initialy enemy are Pact but then Nato gets involved)
Third is Russia thinks that Able Archer 83 is an invasion and thus attack first (you play an american commander)
Last one you are a vengefull Russian commander after the nukes have fallen.
I know RTS games are not typically played for their stories, but that's a very big spoiler.
I liked the campaigns quite a lot, though some missions are much better than others, and there are some good objective twists that vary the gameplay in interesting ways (like evacuating units in one mission which then make up your sole deployable forces in the next). They're also plenty generous with the command stars, but I took the minimalist approach of trying to pick just the right units for the job and using as few and as low-powered units as I could manage with and preserve, which was ultimately quite satisfying. The ends of the last couple campaigns get quite tough though, and I was glad to have the serious tanks and helis saved for these battles. Importantly, the start of each campaign is also a TO&E reset, so you get a fresh pool of units, though what's available depends on the mission and generally expands as you go.
A couple of great guides for W:EE. Read them if you're new (and if you aren't read them anyway):

Play Arma2:CO with us. (It isn't nearly as difficult as you might think.)

Hi,
I wrote the "Playing with Randoms" guides. There is also another good guide from a (guestwriter) friend of mine I want to point out: Forests and Hedgerows
More importantly, I'm organizing the first Escalation Series tournament this Saturday. Registration is open until midnight (CET) today! So head over to the announcement and register asap!
Also, join the Escalation Series Steam group for upcoming tournament news.
Uh that sounds indeed tasty. I'll consider it when I get home.
Edit:
Balls, the tournament is at roughly 0.00 my time. I'll be hardly able to make that.

currently playing PACT, love BMP 685's and my trusty infantry spamming :D
I've tried writing you (and several others) but no one answered :(
Btw. we have a RPS mumble server we usually use to communicate things in TvT games and other chatter.

Sorry duder. I know you tried to contact me a couple of times (Blastvader) but I've either been at work or Uni the last couple of weeks (in fact I'm just leaving the latter right now at 0800hrs) my near constant Steam-online...ness is due to the fact that I'm just too lazy to turn my bloody PC off.
BTW...the second mission in single player kicked my arse :/ I think I'm too tired for this game at the moment.

WAIT! I can still play once in awhile! And I was really good at some stage! Let me live!
