I do love looking at Shogun 2. Did you get the DLC with the maximum gore options? I found it a little gimmicky but it made combat a lot more interesting to watch.
I did get it yeah. I like the blood effects on the soldiers but the sprays look a bit ridiculous and the splatter on the screen is really annoying ...well, for taking screen anyway (foruntately I found a way to disable it)
Unfortunately I have a wierd problem with the game whereby, every time I start steam, it starts redownloading the whole game again so I haven't been able to play it. Just bought Fall of the Samurai, hopefully that wont have the same issue.

SephKing - Nice Shogun screens, but the lack of AA is quite jarring. I really really wish the engine was more optimised, but I guess thats just the graphics whore getting the better of me.
Thanks man. Just managed to fix my issue with the game and play for a bit. Decided to turn on AA and it's just about tolerable frame rate wise. If I zoom right in when it gets busy, it drops to about 17fps but most of the time it stays above 35. I did take a batch of screens but will post later sas i'm sure people are probably getting bored of Shogun screens.
Did however just start playing Sniper Elite V2 which is actually pretty damn awesome in coop.
For some reason the replays on DiRT 3 have black bars, but it still looks fantastic:

Very cool. Black Reach is one of the coolest environments I've ever played in a game. I just about had to pick my jaw up off the floor when the entire scale of the place finally kicked in.

I remember a certain thing that happens at the end of Dragons Eye if a paladin is leading your party. Want to have a rest with those nice, normal priestly-looking people? Fuck that, Captain Paladin says they're evil and you must kill them all! Even if you have no spells left and your fighters are beat-to-shit, get ready to fight 4-armed angry snake woman and her posse.
