First started Saints Row 3 with a male character but I didn't quite like it and after talking to a friend who played with a female character and so I decided to to do just that... and tried to roll a Japanese schoolgirl, which didn't quite work.

Definitely. Having played Saints Row the Third first, I'm now wondering if a certain gameplay segment in that game was inspired by or "inspired" by the latter of the levels you mentioned.
I told myself I'm not allowed to look at screenshots for Max Payne 3 before I played it... But they are very pretty.
I-War: Defiance
Project CARS (in Alpha) doesn't just have the best looking cars in any racing game I've ever seen -the tracks are still far from ready-, it allows for a great amount of customizing in its difficulty; in the way it handles. Definitely worth checking out if you're at all interested in racing games or simulations.

It takes a damn lot to make a city look vaguely city-like at street level in SimCity.
Looks nice in satellite view, tho.
Inspired by SephKing's Skyrim shots, but lacking none of the artistic flair:
I keep thinking about investing in a nice wheel like a G27 and giving this a go. Just got to wait for the price to dip again. They keep fluctuating from about £180 to £250. Prefer my racers to be edging more towards arcade though, like Grid. But if it's customisable to that end then I'd love to give this a go.

I'm really made up that it 1) it runs smooth as butter on my ageing 9800gt/amd quad 2.3, max settings except for dx11 stuff for obvious reasons (Why they put those crazy system specs is baffling) and 2) It feels like Max Payne 2 and is fun.

The funny thing about Company of Heroes - and all RTSs, for that matter - is that it looks great at bird's eye...
...but closer to ground level you see that everything's basically at point blank range.

The draw distance and elevation on Vroom is great for its time - pretty colours too.
