There isn't many jump scares, it's mostly a feeling of vulnerability, which is good. I do rather like Alan Wake now, it's best not to cane it, just doing section every so often helps.

How's the horror in Alan Wake? Does it rely on jumpscares (Like Dead Space) or does it do the suspense thing (Like Amnesia)?

Looks atmospheric as fuck, that mounted deer's head oozes pure terror, get it away daddy.

It starts off as a psychological horror or something like that, but make no mistake, it's an action game.

Sonic Generations is back in action! I still believe it to be one of the best looking games out there. Sega have really nailed the aesthetics and it's something that's only going to improve with better hardware. To quote Sonic, "Looking good!" This, of course, is nothing you haven't seen me write before. I'm sure I've done it many times in this thread. Also, those of you who have played the game will recognise that this level isn't in it. It's the mod for Dragon Road from Sonic Unleashed on the consoles which is in the process of being port-modded to Generations.

It's also rather hard to get a picture of the game in motion. It's a fast game anyhow, but this level has non-stop action. I actually think it's really, really good. Worth a go if you've got the game, for sure. Anyhow, these shots are from early in the level where you have enough time to hit F12.

It's more of a psychological thriller than anything else. The gameplay isn't anything to write home about, as it's very repetitive. Shine light on baddies, wait until shield dissipates, kill. I like the game for the method it uses to tell its story. I'm not a completionist by any stretch of the imagination, but this is the only game that's ever motivated me to find the extras lying around (i.e. story pages that add the to plot). Tei explained it really well " I think the game try to recreate the experience of walking trought horror book" It's basically an interactive story with some shooty bits.
