From the looks of things, most people do. It avoids hosting issues ("Too much traffic!") and the file formats are not too bad, plus it's easy to see a full size image if you want.

I was messing around in Sonic Generations last night and wanted to see if I could find any hidden details in some of the levels.

What you don't see much of when you're going round a high speed corner in Rooftop Run.

I didn't time it amazingly, but whenever you get close to a flame, heat waves distort the image slightly.

Serious Sam 3. I'm avoiding slightly spoilery pics (environmental spoilers, I suppose, of areas that are a bit "Woah!").

Well, thats just terrible (about the crashed game, I mean)! Also, I honestly wouldn't have even been able to come up with the treehouse with a lookout point. Hence why I've never tried Minecraft, in spite of my curiosity.

Also, ETS looks/sounds shockingly good. If it goes on sale at some point I may have to try it.

I don't care what anyone says, I thoroughly enjoyed that level in Crysis, both from a visual stand-point and playing it. Looks bloody gorgeous.

Well, I link them from steam and they rarely get above 250 kb. I have no idea what it depends on though.

Resolution of the image is probably the main thing when using Steam. Images with lots going on, lots of different colours etc are likely to be larger. If an image is too big you can load it up in your preferred image editor (I use GIMP) and save it at a lower quality.

Not sure why Detcord makes a fuss about it. By all means take screenshots in a high quality format, but its polite and sensible to compress them for web pages.

And if you don't have an image editor, there's free pic resizers online like picresize.com.

Only a quick snap from The Cave
It looks lovely in motion, with a kind of oil painting like feel. The background has some depth into it. You immediately get a feeling that the cave is huge. I think I maybe taking more screenshots as I journey deeper with my monk, knight and adventurer

A few more from Just Cause 2, this time with more rain and lightning!

By the way, does Projects CARS look that great in motion? Because the stills are gorgeous.
