On another note, what programs is the best for taking screenshots easily, with support for everything the Steam Overlay supports and more? Does Fraps free nags you to update? And what is loss in functionality from the full fledged program?

I tried it but I couldn't make out any difference. Maybe it doesn't work on my version, it's from a bundle. It doesn't have multiplayer.
Looks good enough to me anyhow.

Dishonored. I like that you can turn off all pesky HUD elements.

Siff, the Wolf is one of the coolest Bossses. The Manticore I was unable to beat yet, such an annoying boss.

Sonic Generations Unleashed (with FX PipeLine Renderer, which I found what its naming, augmented with forced AFx16 through my driver). I carry on my Classic adventure.

Well, I'm not going to argue with a pelican!

Sonic looks at the menu, only to be disappointed in the lack of chilli dogs. (Also, I think Red Mountain might be a reference to a level from one of the Adventure games, come to think of it.)

Better run fast to take off that Cool Edge.

I think this one speaks for itself.

Manticore is one of the trick bosses.

General tip: Don't bring any special weapons, just get something with high physical

The secret: Don't block when he does the roar thing. It will drain all your stamina instantly. Instead, either roll or just tank it so you can block the follow up attack

    It's a long way down.

That feeling of tension as you hope not to break your speed and plunge into the abyss, yet simultaneous satisfaction that you're running on water.

Sonic unleashed mod, cool! Want to try it out tomorrow. I heard spin dashing with classic sonic in the unleashed levels crashes the game, has that happened to you? Also, how does the mod run with all the snazzy effects?

Yup, Classic Sonic is generally not designed to work in 3D space. Spin dash will break the game, but you can use it in any location where you're limited to the 2D plane (there are a few occasions where this is also where the camera is behind you, but don't use if you're unsure). His turning when racing forward is really poor, so you have to be really precise with his movements. I'd also wager that most of the levels are simply not completable without the homing attack custom skill, which you can get if you complete Windmill Isle as Classic and collect all the red rings (not that I've tried any other level than the tutorial, which I don't think is possible without it, but WI might be the only level that you can complete without homing attack).

There's a few other general bugs too, like the game will CTD every so often and only when playing as Classic, sometimes the loading screen between the level end and the hub will last forever and you'll need to manually close it down. Basically, they've done a minimal job of catering to letting you play as Classic, but that in itself is a nice fun bonus.

In terms of performance, it only dips on the notoriously heavy resource levels. I haven't tried without the FX thingy, but I get the feeling that doesn't do too much difference in comparison to standard high configuration in vanilla. My computer isn't exactly amazing, but it's a quad core with a 6800 series card. I think with a better card, the frame drops wouldn't happen. Even then, they don't at all break the sense of speed. They're noticeable, but they don't ever get close to making it unplayable. The change of adding the forced Antistropic Filtering x16 seems to have made almost no impact on performance too, but makes a definite change to the overall image quality.
