The ones with the ridiculous lighting are video cutscenes (the last 3 pics). Only difference between gameplay is the quality of the lighting, which is insanely better in cutscenes and gives that even more natural appearance.

Oh shit, he looks angry. I think I'm still on Residue Processing. It's pretty as all heck, but didn't really grip me like HL did back in the days. But then, how could it? It was my first FPS ever, now I'm a seasoned veteran of many battles, and highly trained cynic.

I played a bit of TLOU on the mall, and it suffers from the same problem as Uncharted: Ludonarrative Dissonance. It's ridiculous really, Naughty Dog should just make a Walking Simulator, or an Adventure game.
Ahem. To cleanse my spirit of the consoletoy plague, here's some more screenshots of PC games, in this case NFS Carbon. I have others from Torment, but they are kinda spoiler-ish.
First, the Tex Murphy inspired cutscenes
Also, in-game ads!

Quite a small fraction of a game to play to judge it heh. But if you want to be a hater I can't stop you :P

World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor

the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free". ~ Luke 4:18

It's at least a generation ago. Pretty sure it released on PS2 as well.

I also loathe the enemy design with a passion. If you removed the zombies it would be a much better game I reckon.
It's not a bad game, as such. Just a very uninspired one in many ways. At least Uncharted is silly and goofy. This was just a chore.Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory since 1982.

It does feel restricted now playing it for a second time, especially after playing other PS4 games that have bigger environments, I don't think I'll have as nice an experience as the first game for me. The best part is when you play Ellie imo, I don't remember if that's before or after Philadelphia though.
It kind of only really gathers good pace and let you play like you want by mid-game, that's one thing I didn't like.
Slowly getting there. A bit too much introducing this and that character early on, slows it down. When it finally establishes what the deal is (Joel and Ellie vs everything) then it get to its best parts.
The odd thing is... that's not the most gruesome the game can be... lol.
