Right of way means nothing with the ETS2 AI, they either ram you at full speed being oblivious to the massive truck right there, or will creep into the side of you at about 10KM/H.

I think I had right of way at that point, doesnt really matter though, he was not visible when I started crossing, as you can see I'm already turning onto the other side of the road.

    Final Fantasy XIV

So, Final Fantasy XIV started a trial period...
For some reason I decided to try it out and am now spending hours upon hours playing it. I find it utterly gorgeous and spend a lot of time in first person view and with the HUD disabled, just wandering around and taking snapshots. It's a perfect game for virtual tourism, IF you like the style of the game. Which I absolutely do.

In the first post are screenshots of your lovely guide, Lenaya Pimpel (founder of the Pimpel lineage in this game). Besides being a perfect game for ogling at scenery, it's also made for spending hours upon changing clothes. Rings, necklaces and earrings are displayed on you character model and the items range from badass to completely bonkers.

Oh, and the game watermarks every screenshot you take. Which is silly.
And the insert image function does not work for me.

Being so well suited for the quest NPCs was pure luck, but made me very happy:

    Final Fantasy XIV

    In this post:
    SCENERY!

They all are from the first major area. The game is structured around three main cities and their surroundings. Depending on your starting class, you get dropped into one of them. The following screens are from the city me and my friend started until we actually left to the other areas (which turned out to be way more interesting).

Sorry for all the aliasing, but the game offers only FXAA, which is poop, and you can't force any other AA via the drivers.
On the bright side, the light in this game is simply amazing. They did an incredible job at making every time of day and type of weather look different and interesting. There is a huge difference in the way the same scene looks and feels, depending on when you are looking at it. Is it day or night, dusk or dawn? Clear blue sky, cloudy, very cloudy, raining...?
For that reason the game looks way better in actual motion, when the shadows move around and there are all those little movements of trees, animals, NPCs etc.
But I tried my best to capture some nice scenes.

Binfinite:Burial at Sea 2. Playing as Elizabeth is much more interesting than Booker. The stealth elements may be quite simple, but it's a better fit creeping around, trying to get a melee stun or lining up a gas dart shot.

It was like this before I got here, honest.

Pimpel - untick the "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" box and it should work. Limited to 4 images per post I think.

    Where do I tick this?
When I click on "Insert Image" a box pops up but I cant click on anything and have to refresh the page before I can use anything again. It freezes my screen, so to say.

    Yeah, it's weird.
Is there a way to insert image links via a breacket command?
Something along the lines of [image] ?

Try just putting in [img] tags around the links, that should work every time.

    [img] .... [/ img]

    Without the spaces.

Make sure you post the "direct link" to the image, not the IMGUR page that has the image within it.

Should look like this (you can quote to see exactly how).

You have to click the "from URL" tab when using the IMG tags shortcut here btw.

Papa & Yo (roughly translated "Father and I"),is a game abouts a young Brazilian boy Quico who, while hiding from his abusive, alcoholic father, finds himself taken to a dream-like favela, and meeting a normally docile creature, Monster. The player, as Quico, can interact with Monster and manipulate the buildings of the favela in unique ways, such as by stacking individual shacks on each other, to complete puzzles and progress in the game. Papo & Yo was designed by Vander Caballero, who created the story based on his own past in dealing with an abusive, alcoholic father.

Perfect, that's exactly what I needed. Mucho gracias!
And yeah, I would love to clock "from URL", but I can't click anything in the popup box. But using the bracket command is totally fine for me.

The next four screens are from one of the other two major cities. It's a mixture of Greece, castle Neuschwanstein and some 18th century fashion. They also show how vastly different the city looks at various points of the day (only watch them in full resolution if you don't mind jaggies!):

    @pepper

I love how you post the most ridiculous situations, but those trucks always seem very unimpressed and calm. Not phased in the slightest by whatever madness is hapenning.
Apparently, truck are cool as heck

Assorted Fallout screenshots. I mostly forgot about making any.

    A job well done.

    A close call.

I got plenty of those weird random encounters towards the end.

Raiding the military base makes you regret having ever picked up any companions. Dogmeat got sliced in half by a laser.

If you fix the Mr. Handy in the depths of the military and reprogram him to follow you he will do just that, forever. Before I infiltrated the Cathedral I had to put him down. It was heartbreaking.
