In DA2 it gets truly stupid. "You're not one of them evil mages, are you? Casting all those spells might make one think so. No? Good then. I will kill all mages I see. Wonder what all those guys are there buying magic staves and magical abilities boosting robes. Surely not mages? Naah. I will kill all mages."

I should see if there's a "better cowls" mod or something.

Edit: Ack, I could a better shot of the front of the helmet, but I can't detach the first one I put in ... how do you delete "attached thumbnails"?

Adding my Shogun 2 shots. I don't have HDR on, I think that makes quite a difference in screenshot nice looking-ness.

I posted my thoughts on the game itself in the What are you playing? thread, but for the pictures here, I had to manually edit a few .ini files so that the game both would look better and not run like complete ass. There are plenty of guides out there though, so if you do pick it up, make sure you edit these things first.

How is Spec Ops? It looks like they are trying to push the "weirdness" pretty hard in the marketing, but it looks like a generic cover shooter.

Bad Company 2: just hangin' out.

Red Orchestra 2 - just a torso embedded in the wall, flopping around:

Play Arma2:CO with us. (It isn't nearly as difficult as you might think.)

this happened when I tried to get a better look at the horse. Unfortunately I only had a trumpet to defend myself.

But then the cavalry arrived and we were able to hold the second floor and the strategically important piano (on which you can play For Elise).

The main fella does suffer from sudden pangs of arthritis tho, he couldn't jump this small fence

Also with the summer sale just around the corner
Rage is a good game, and I would encourage everyone to get it on sale. Its hard to screenshot the action tho

I love games like Dead Space 2 where they just drop you right in the shit, and you are running for your life from the outset. Then after you have been scared shitless and totally helpless for 5 or 10 minutes, they start to give you your inventory and teach you the controls. So much more enjoyable than your standard tutorial. I need to play both of those games again.

Trackmania United, assaulting you with its long title, heavy multiplayer interface and crazy track designs. It still looks great despite the fact I somehow had AA turned off too!

Y'know, I'm see a whole lot more in the "gory holes in the backs of people's heads" department.

And I'm not sure if I like it.
