Serious Sam is looking seriously good. Not quite sure I can get into mindless-shoot-everything-that-moves mode though till it's on serious sale.

Those look fantastic. I have to make do with lower settings, but the game's still a looker. I love the updated monster designs and the bright, arcadey blood splatter.
Have you played with the color options at all?
Yeah it's ok so far. Few too many things copied from the previous games. Haven't tried the color options yet.

Yep. It was a TvT match on a 128 player server as part of the Fork in the Road COIN Operations campaign. It was our realism unit and one from the UK (all are current/former military) versus insurgents as players. We had to conduct KLE's, route clearance, humanitarian operations, clear and hold, cache seizures, etc etc etc. Killing a civilian, destroying a house or business, not finishing a well, etc could push the civilian population (all AI) of a village toward the Taliban. Tricky stuff.
