Still feels a little weird seeing the screenshots labelled 2013-01, but anyway! Decided to start over my continuous game in Anno 2070 after getting to grips with some of the changes.

The propaganda, or 'Education Network', tower with great programs like 'Together for the Future', 'Out of the Old comes the New' and 'Better Living'.



The fields where the tea production takes place, as well as the harbour as seen from the rear.



The other side of the coast-stretching harbour area. Lots of fishing boats swarm the waters along the coast.

Inspired by Tritagonist's Anno shots, here is one scene from the 1404 that I found quite amusing (and satisfactory).

I couldn't afford any weapon so i decided to take on a cop. Then one couldn't escape because other one was behind me all the time while running away,so i turned and shot him in the head,getting 3 stars. So the chase was on,it lasted quite some time but i managed to get away and now i have glock with 37 bullets! Mission acomplished.

The tilt camera feature is a bit overdone in most media but is pretty neat in Anno, wish more games would have it.

Hah! Poor Kardinal Lucius. Guess that didn't work out as planned for him.

I unlocked the Lighthouse building, in Anno 2070 which allows you to toggle the time of day. Seems to be purely cosmetic, but fun nonetheless.

As the sun sets, warships patrol the harbours.



Work on the sand extractors and flour mills continues during the night.



The sun once again rises over this city of about 5,000 inhabitants.

I didn't think farm plots actually needed roads, with the farm building handling all the output sending? Mind, even roads become optional when you've got enough fly-y deliver-y things

You're exactly right! I dislike the empty spaces and have a few overlapping depots collecting goods due to the high amount of industry buildings in the area, so I figured more roads wouldn't really hurt.

One more; these two warships escort a small vessel as part of a request from another faction.

I'm really liking these 2070 shots. I picked it up in a sale a while back but haven't even launched it yet. I may have to address that.

It's good fun! I was a little worried that the limited 'range of effectiveness' of buildings would feel out of place in a futuristic title (after all, they all seem to have flying cars), but there's a nice progression of utility buildings to go along with the citizens themselves that have far greater range and performance. It requires some replacement of older buildings from time to time, but it works quite well.

Meanwhile, in Mass Effect 3 (with some fan-made high-resolution textures):

Shepard is being a bit of a jerk towards Comm Specialist Samantha Traynor. Not that I can do anything about it, there's much less choice in how to steer the conversation than in previous games.



Ah yes, Tuchanka. There can be little doubt that this is the Krogan homeworld.



This recycled multiplayer map isn't big enough for two snipers!



On the Citadel, Liara seems unfamiliar with the military interpretation of the term R&R.

Big ship! That's probably my main aesthetic disappointment at this point; I much prefer the sailing ships in all their different sizes in the earlier Anno games to these relatively small ships in Anno 2070.
