Battlefield 3

BF3 is such an amazing looking game. Just a damn shame it's all bloody grey.
judging from the screenshots above, the new Wake Island map do look a bit grey but the rest are still atmospheric as ever. altho ill miss the brown dusty-ish atmosphere of the old strike at karkand.

ah, good old times
That looks nice. I don't think I've played a World War flying simulator since Red Baron.
Rise of Flight recently added a dynamic campaign generator, much like the one in Red Baron...
Also, the game is completely free - you get the whole thing, including the dynamic career generator and two planes : the SPAD XIII and the Albatros DVa. Then further aircraft are on an a la carte basis.
The AI, however, will fly all appropriate aircraft. So even if you don't buy a particular plane you will still see it in the air to fly with and against.
The SPAD is a determined "boom and zoom" plane that is best used to make slashing attacks, followed by an extend and then return. The DVa is predominantly a "turn and burn" plane and is probably my favourite aircraft in the game.
RoF regularly have sales for planes during holidays and whenever they launch a new aircraft - single seaters often for about $2.50 - I'm up to 12 aircraft available now including a couple two-seaters for about $24.

Uh... Why are you in my house, you creepy guard?

That used to be his house, until he took a sub-prime mortgage to the knee.
All times I have enjoyed greatly, have suffered greatly, both with those that loved me, and alone.
I was walking through Windhelm last night and passed by someone who said he used to be a soldier until he took a sword to the chest. I thought, "OH GOD NOT YOU TOO!" and hurriedly ran off.
"Uh... Why are you in my house, you creepy guard?"
I've noticed this a lot. If someone is talking to you when you enter a building, they enter the building with you, finish what they were saying, then leave (most of the time). I'm betting that guard was probably giving you some basic passing chatter as you entered your house, and he thought what he had to say was so important he must follow you in and finish.

Ok, haven't seen it posted here and just discovered it yesterday:
