Its PES 2013,with SMOKE PATCH. I'm playing mode BAL - Become A Legend, its like Football RPG.

You get to create a player and then choose a starting club. You get to choose your desired position as well as creating your basic skill set. As you progress through the season and impress the manager then you will become the number one pick for your position.

While progressing you can increase your traits as well as earning money. Money can be spent on: equipment, training, your agent and of course football boots. If you upgrade your agent it increases your chances of signing for a bigger name team. Equipment and training increase your progression on chosen traits.

I had high hopes, but I wanna know why you think this.

Also, "this year..." we're only halfway into February.

For the same reasons as Duke Nukem Forever. Like that game, it had a lot of the elements that make it a DUKE game. The music, characters, voice, weapons, humor etc but it just doesn't work at all. The AI is horrific, the graphics are average at best, the dialogue makes stallone movies feel like Shakespeare by comparison and the gameplay is just plain dull. It has the Aliens music, some of the characters (Bishop, hicks) and obviously the setting but everything else falls flat. I also had really high hopes for this but I've only played the first three missions and I'm fairly certain I wont go back to it again.

I realise we're only into february but I only really play games that I'm either really looking forward to or they've been reviewed quite well so the chances of me playing something worse than this are pretty slim. Regardless of the the fact that it's Mid Feb.

@Kataras: Great C.A.R.S. shots squire. Especially the one with the car upside down, surrounded by dust and the sun flare piercing through.

You know a game has lower quality when people could get the same image quality screenshots as Seph without his Super Future Computer. Without playing the game, too.

Kain, go home, you're drunk. You know you can't handle red wine.

Also, I'm beginning to think Blood Bowl may not be the game for either me or my apothecary.

Two more cohesive blocks in a jumbled morass of a city.

SimCity 4 is like bonsai with bricks: There's a bunch of metrics that decide what building "grows" where, and they're all equally dumb. Basically, when you place a zone, the game looks at it based on:

    1. Size of the zone. 4*(1x2) may technically be the same space as 2*(2x2), but not when you want 2x2-sized buildings. The game favors what you designate, but not always! It will merge more than it divides, but if it can't build anything anywhere, it'll start dividing up properties however which way it finds more expedient.
    2. Orientation of zones. 2x2 on a right-handed corner will likely spawn buildings with corner facades, but only right-handed buildings. If a modder made a right-handed building but not a left-handed building, you'll have to re-orient the direction of the zone facing in order to get the left-handed building to grow. In a related fashion, the smaller the blocks you have, the more corners you have, and the harder everything becomes, because the vast majority of buildings in the base game as well as mods are meant for mid-block, not corners.
    3. Strength of demand. A building that houses 357 Sims will always beat out a building that houses 356 Sims if the demand is great enough. The game also likes to do the math and say "I need to fill up the demand for 2500 Sims. Lemme build as close to that as I can," leading to odd and inefficient choices if you choose to base your development with that specific a demand in mind.
    4. Existing development. A building must always trump the building that's in place. An upper-class villa will never be replaced by a middle-class apartment block, no matter how built-up the area becomes. The only way to break this rule is if the building is abandoned or a lower class of Sim are squatting in it.
    5. Level of building. SimCity also has an internal metric that says "rank 8 buildings (say, high-rises) must be build in a specific ratio to rank 6 buildings (say, tenements) and rank 4 buildings (say, rowhouses) based on the total population." There are eight ranks, and eventually it looks like a bell ratio. This means that if a rank 4 building houses anywhere near the population of a rank 5 building, the rank 4 building is far likelier to be built to satisfy demand. Likewise, if there are too many rank 7 buildings, a metric fuckton of rank 6 buildings will be built instead to satisfy demand. This also means that even if you zone high density everywhere, most of the stuff that gets built will never reach capacity.

There are mods, consequently, to add a further eight ranks, with a more ecumenical ratio, leading to project-style housing developments.

And then the game decides to say "a building with blank walls on three sides trumps the corner building you want on the corner spot," leading me to blow up the game's efforts to fill demand until it finally builds what I want. The humor of this is, when it finally does build what I want and I get to "save" the building with Historical Preservation, the entire block ends up falling in place practically instantaneously. If you want rowhouses to fill a block, getting the first one is murder, but once the first is built, look away for three seconds and you have the block you want.
