It's randomly generated through procedural generation. The shots were random planets, not Mars.

You can skin planets using nasa images like kataras said but there's no land generation on the surface, its just a flat skin for orbit detail shots.

Dropbox doesn't provide near the storage space necessary to use it as a permanent web host. Imgur is dead simple.

They like mortars. I like tanks.

    Oh, for fuck's sake!

Fun fact: I recrewed the same mortar three times, which means at least 18 men lost their lives in the defense of one piece of military hardware. They killed 40, however, so it's a net gain.

Great ARMA, Dishonored and Remember Me shots chaps. I wish my project CARS looked that good. Got all the settings on max but it doesn't look anywhere near that (maybe it's because I have the basic version). Good to see some COH too. Just installed it on steam yesterday as it dawned on me recently that I never actually got past the third mission.

    Great shots Seph!

On project CARS, is there an ETA on release? Missed out on early membership.

Re Project CARS, have you tried switching to Hable whatever-its-called filter in the options? It looks way better than the HDR one. Also patches reset everything to default and my launcher has the habit of not remembering I want to play it in DirectX 11 not 9. Finally, I noticed some tracks look way better than others.

I don't know if there is a graphics difference between packages, I think it's mostly cars+tracks etc. Might be wrong though.

Joystick time! Finally got some around to test it. Can anyone suggest some other games?

Rise of Flight is a free WW1 flight sim. Great graphics and looks like fun.

IL-2: 1946 is the most up to date version of the classic WW2 sim, its fairly easy to get started with all the assists and realism options available.

Cliffs of Dover is the prettier sequel to IL-2, but I really don't know what state it's in now after a rough release.

I also found Trackmania quite amusing with a joystick, though I'm not convinced its better than using a pad.

DCS World, War Thunder (both free), Wings of Prey (wait for the Steam sale for that one, it gets cheap), X3 AP is really quite good with a stick... Descent (look up DX Rebirth), Strike Suit Zero/Infinity, Take On Helicopters, Arma 2/3, err... Umm... I haven't played them myself but Xplane 10, AeroFly FS, MS Flight Simulator, MS Flight (I guess? It's free I suppose). That's all I can think of. I would say Freespace but I don't know if it works with all sticks. Maybe Zigfrak too? Oh and possibly the Vector Thrust alpha.

    And, hell, the original I-War.

    Much obliged squire :)

@Ado: It's very much the marmite of games. You're either going to really enjoy it or despise it. I fall in the former category. It's a bit clunky and very hard at times but generally speaking it's a great survival horror FPS.
