Cheers bud. Yeah, the game really can be quite striking at times, especially on the naval side.

The enemy had 3 guys left of 2000 and they decided to make a stand instead of run...

.....didn't really work out for them

Those ships obviously pale in comparison to today's behemoths, but there's something about a fully rigged sailing ship that just looks more adventurous and impressive than even the longest modern ships. And by adventurous I suppose I mean dangerous and, quite frankly, a little mad.

    TrackMania 2: Stadium

The Stadium setting might look a little outdated compared to Canyon and Valley, but there's still plenty to enjoy: jumps!

    Open-wheel cars on dirt tracks.

    Ridiculous speeds.

And using the scenery as part of the track, because why not?

Time for a bragging screenshot: 1.6 square kilometers mapped! (0.6 square miles)

That's a rather large amount of snow, isn't it?

I love the bay in the bottom middle map. Beautiful arrangement of a beautiful world.
I'm failing to writing a blog, specifically about playing games the wrong way

Apologies if I screw this up: I don't post pictures on forums that often, and my PC's not up to much.

Some Remember Me shots (hopefully no explicit spoilers):

I can't really tell what I'm looking at even though I've been studying it for a minute.

Heh, I guess it's easier for me to parse given I was hammering F12 so many times... probably seems more legible to me than it really is. White shape at the bottom is a guy in armour lying supine on the floor, one of the mutants is crouched over him, head on one side, ridiculously long arm over the fallen guy's head. Second mutant is standing up, hands on hips, head tilted back.

If you have any interest in arcade beat 'em ups I would say it's worth picking up for the art direction and score alone. The fighting is still pretty fun, it's just I don't understand why they couldn't go the extra mile and let you actually design your own combos, not merely choose which buffs each hit gets - you can choose what bonus each individual X and Y triggers but you can only ever tap out X, X, X, or X, Y, Y, X, Y, Y or what have you. Which is annoying when you have to wait until the fifth hit of a six-hit string to get a crowd-control move, say. Dynasty Warriors games arguably have more depth.

    Anyway:

(I actually liked the sewer levels.)

    Oh, and

Clearer? They're real, the plot kinda revolves around them. They're one of the main enemy types (though these two are sort of sub-bosses).

    Rome II

In my current game as Parthia, someone destroyed Rome, and they've risen again. Tempted to turn off fog of war just to see what the hell is going on over there.
