That's great to hear about the RE4 patches, particularly for M+KB controls. I've been dying to play that with the speed and accuracy of mouse aim ever since I first got it on my Gamecube.

It's extremely good. There's a classic mode with lower sensitivity, and modern mode with much more sensitivity.

Classic feels sluggish, because it uses sensitivities more appropriate for the gamepad. Switch to modern and it feels like proper mouse aiming in any action game :)

    Got a 1080p resolution of a downsampled 4K shot of DOOM 3 :)

Will get an original quality one soon :)

Unfortunately using 4K resolution meant that the security camera in this area was offset inappropriately from where it was in the 1080p resolution.... so now I can't take a 4K picture of "DOOM guy and infinite regression" in this way :(

Anyone know any websites that accept 4K shots? Lol.

    Ah here we go...

Is that a co-ed washroom? Preposterous! We must destroy everything inside!

Hey bud... I think you got something hanging out there... no not THAT :P

The feast... nom nom nom nom...

Hallway of DOOM! I thought it might be a bit darker... oh well!

"Is that guy OK!? He looks a bit unwell."

All kind of compressed, but at least pretty good upload. Cut the originals by about a half in size from 1 to 1.5 MB to about 750 kB each.

Also really sweet DCS vids, nice cuts and camera shooting :)

To be fair, it runs smoothly and plays just the same. It might not be pretty, but I can play it, which is more than can be said than about 97% of the games on my PC at the moment. To a degree to accepted standards, it also highlights how scalable the game is. Obviously I have the advantage of not actually playing it on a netbook and having a quad core to pick up some slack, but still.

Sure hope they don't do that when they fly around here!
It is a technical difference, but's there none the less.

Those Crysis shots are insane. From what year did you travel from to deliver them to us?

And because you (didn't) ask for it, more Torchlight 2 - No GPU Edition shots!

Working polygons are for pricks! Hardcore all the way, baby!

"Wherever this engineer Tara goes, there is only destruction and missing model parts."

The fire might suck, but the wheels are exactly the same at full settings! Think about that one.

That said, the fire really does suck.

That green slime in contention for "World's Jaggiest 2014".

Bonus fact: high res TL2 has actually sensible architecture by way of a complete door. Pffft, luxuries, I say!

Bonus vague comparison shot to remind you that yes, this game can look wonderful.

What build are you looking to do with your engineer? I've got an unfinished game I really ought to wind up at some point where I've stacked 2 handed melee, running it with as many points into forcefield as I can get. The engineer gets a nice amount of AoE's centred on the player, so you can run in, forcefield up, and just start bringing the pain. I try and go for themes for my characters though, rather than stat builds. Like trying to pick all the glaive skills with an outlander, or favouring skills that centre on the engineers little coal backpack prop.
