Wahey, just got this yesterday and it's EPIC. Is there any sort of RPS group for playing this casually on pub servers? Would be nice to play CTF on TS/Vent in a more organised manner .

I'll be looking into an RPS server once details about the custom servers are actually announced. Right now Hi-Rez is still working on getting them rentable and configurable.

There's a friend referral system, yes. Get your link on the Hi-Rez site.

The most important thing to remember as TCN is that the generator, while important, is not the prime objective. The flag is. Defend the flag first, generator second. The TCN SMG is actually great at chaining down incoming and outgoing cappers. The thumper is good at hitting them when they grab the flag.

Not only that, repair the radar and Turrets! The number of times I've seen half the base in ruins and the techs just sitting in the gen room waiting...

They seem to have changed the pathfinder hitbox somewhat; I keep getting disc'd more often than I would like and that never happened in the beta! "Aerodynamics" also seem to have been tonkered with and it's giving me a hard time adjusting to it for some reason.
Last time I played was a while ago, not to obfuscate my meaning. I suppose the new tweaks haven't clicked for me yet. I still love the finished look. It's tribes, with interface!

Just installed and gave it a whirl in CTF. Combat seems pretty uncoordinated with little to no communication. But it's fun skiing around and knifing people in the head.

It gets marginally more coordinated once you get past level 6 and stop being put in the newbie bracket. It will also get much more difficult.

Tribes and me, we're back together again. LazyWriter reporting in for jellyshots and drunken rocketboot flying. Because that's the only way to fly while toting a fusion mortar.

Errr, as in "hitboxes ok, aerodynamics like-wise, I wanna play" but not quite so concise. I'm also amazed (or embarrased) that for all my beta playing I couldn't unlock 100% of any one class in retail yet. When'd I preorder this thing?! Oh that's right, soon as I heard I could. No wonder I've got "lazy" in my name.

I too am waiting for rental servers to rear their pay-to-play heads.
