Right, something has gone very wrong in the match between Bellowhead (me) and playthatfunkytuba in game 482285. We started with the same game: same map, same units, yada yada. However, our moves have been very different! It's like we're each seeing a different version, one where he's struck by good fortune, the other, I am. In my version, I won on turn 6 with a score of 4-1, whereas he's ready to go on turn 7, currently winning at 3-2 (I believe he said, or perhaps even 3-1). So, both very disappointed at losing our grip on supposed victory, we have decided to meet again...

He's at work at the moment, so can't really do too much, but he'll post later on tonight to confirm that I'm not trying to wing it after losing and bag some extra points.

whos is ducking or standing? who spent more time not moving? or simply random?
I don't know which of these are more important, but moving, turning (including to aim, I think), ducking and standing up (the actions, not the stances) all have penalties involved. Aiming and standing behind cover give you an advantage, obviously.
I don't know if crouching actually gives you an advantage or not.
Very odd! The 'official' version (as viewed within the game) has you winning 4-1, but if you're happy to replay the match that's fine by me. Tuba, are you certain that you're not mixing up this game with one of your others?
Crouching doesn't provide any advantage to cover or effectiveness. There's lots of useful information on the wiki that often helps to answer the "why did I die?" question (well worth reading for anyone who hasn't done so already).

Anyway: I'm in charge now, people. Which means it's all about to go horribly wrong. If you post about a challenge or a result and I overlook it, PM me and tell me to sort myself out. Other disasters will be dealt with as they arise.
For the new guys: I upload videos of all the matches to the Rock, Paper, Synapse YouTube channel as soon as I can after the result is announced, and link to them from the raw data tab in the spreadsheet. And why not join the Steam group? It doesn't do anything, but it's there.
