I can't even figure out what the GOTY edition of Dawn of War even is... What makes it special?

nothing really ...more like lame actually. In that it's not available on Steam anymore and you can't buy expansions to make it Gold. You can't buy Gold either. So all you have left is getting Platinum... assuming you want that.

I do still see Gold on Steam ... and they're still doing weird things; Gold costs 14.99 Euro, Platinum (Gold + Dark Crusade) costs 9.99 Euro. When I bought them all, it was cheaper to get Gold + Dark Crusade than Platinum.

Dark Scavenger is great - SS: The Random Encounter is amusing enough if repetitive - Unstoppable Gorg is about as novel as a TD gets - Grotesque Tactics is - well - it's OK if the humour works for you and AWFUL if it doesn't...

Archon Classic is a serviceable remake of the original Archon with a perfectly acceptable remix of the title screen music (I don't mean the version in the trailer). Really, it's quite agreeable.

Grotesque Tactics is - well - it's OK if the humour works for you and AWFUL if it doesn't...

I'm not sure I even reached a stage where I could say much about its humor, the UI was so clunky I gave up after a couple hours in frustration.

Believe it or not, the Trouble With Robots is actually pretty interesting, and I'd recommend it.

It's a bit like Plants vs Zombies meets a card game and gets more fast paced, to have the worst, but closest description I can think of.

It actually does look quite interesting - downloading the demo - it could even be worth the admission cost here alone! (which it would have to be as I own almost everything else anyway!) :)

Well I tried the demo and I really liked it - but I had a bit of a concern that the 'random draw of cards' would make some bits a bit - well - random.

The demo has limited stages but there's a Challenge - 15 waves - and I've been happily playing that (furthest I've gotten is dying on Wave 14) and I was sort-of-right, randomness is a factor - but the joyous design of the cards means it's ALWAYS worth another try

I love it - basically - you shouldn't miss it - demo here

BeMine 6 closing in about 18 hours. Next week they're gonna launch a new offering called "Build a Greenlight Bundle". There's also been rumors about a new Humble Indie Bundle but no facts yet AFAIK.
